8 Aura, Semblances, and an Emergency!

"So, this is the day, huh." Clenching and unclenching my fist, I was rather surprised with how I was keeping all this giddy energy in me.
After taking a few days to calm down, Penny had popped in the chat and mentioned that she finally knew how to awaken our auras! This led us to now, where we accepted a simple guarding side mission so that we could all come here to stop our own worlds' time to get a grasp on our Auras and Semblances!
"I'm pretty fucking excited right now!" With all this excitement in me I felt like I was going to do a Ruby!
"Sheesh! Calm down pinkie, wouldn't want you scaring off the sheep now." Touka gestured towards the blocky sheep behind us. And yes, °blocky. sheep°. We were in fucking minecraft guarding sheep from Illagers.
No matter how I look at them, every time I see these square sheep in front of me there is a weird mix of awe and surreality.
"Oh come on, Touka-chan~. Don't tell me you're not excited about this as well! Look! Even 2B's excited!" Kim pointed at 2B, who had long forgone her visor in our presence and was visibly excited as well. I could only guess that since Aura and Semblances are the manifestation of the soul, this was a way of confirming that despite being an android, she had one.
I, for one, truly do believe that 2B and the rest of the androids have their own souls, and despite my cynicism whispering about the what-ifs, I'll stand by with this belief.
"Well then! Let's start!" Penny's declaration pulled me away from my thoughts, prompting me to become attentive to her words.
Standing with my friends, hands holding with one another (Lewd!!! 0///0), we bowed our heads slightly in preparation.
Raising her hand towards us, Penny began. "For it is in bonds that we achieve unity. Through this, we become a paragone of strength and steel to rise above and protect those close to us. Infinite in will and unbound by limits, I release your soul, and by my heart, I by my belief, unite thee."

Silence. There was no sound, there was only silence. Then, from silence came a beat, a beat of a heart. But it was different. It was no heart. It was...my soul.

Opening my eyes, the first thing that I saw was black- no, a very dark shade of purple. Then, I noticed that it was like fire and water. The dark purple color of my aura was coating my arms- no, my body like I was on fire, but at the same time it was like my skin had ripple-like cracks, like an ocean.
I took it in, the feeling of °aura°, of how much stronger I felt, before sighing and °letting go° of the feeling. And I watched as my aura slowly fade away like ash.
Turning to my friends, I caught a glimpse of their own auras. 2B's was blue-ish gray, Touka's was a much lighter shade of purple, and Kim's was orange.
Before I could contemplate some more, we suddenly find ourselves being hugged by a gleeful Penny.
"It worked! It worked, it worked, it worked!" Penny looked extremely happy, and I can't help but compare her to an adorable little, energetic, puppy with how she was acting.
"It definitely did, huh." 2B's voice was soft, as if in disbelief. Without a warning, I pulled her into a hug, soon followed by everyone else, and for the first time, 2B °cried°.
"Don't worry. They're tears of joy. That's a good thing, right?" And without much effort, we began to cry for our friend.

After taking some time to calm down, we finally got the chance to try out our semblances.
"Okay! Since you now have your aura's unlocked, you should be able to find your semblances with not much effort! It's something you simply can do on instinct!" With Penny's encouragement, Touka was the first one who tried to find her semblance. As if we were doing a presentation in class, Touka stood in front of us while the rest of us girls were just sitting in varying positions on the fence.
Touka did some adorable expressions that got a laugh out of us, had even accidentally summoned her ukaku once. Eventually, however, something different happened.
Her ukaku had once again appeared, but this time, something else also came along with it. The previously singular ukaku was now a pair of °opposites°. One was a beautiful, yet dangerous red wing, while the other was a majestic, yet soft-looking red wing.
The moment Touka's semblance made itself known, a word unconsciously left my lips.
"Protector..."
Touka was a protector. Despite her sometimes brash attitude, stoicism and snarky personality, Touka was, through and through, someone who °protects°.
"Woah! Th-that's weird..." Touching her softer-looking wing, Touka had on a curious expression mixed with uncertainty.
"Your wings look so beautiful Touka!" Kim squealed in wonder, eyes focused on both wings.
"It truly is." 2B added, causing the now blushing Touka to blush harder.
Deciding to add my own complement, I said, "Your ukaku was already beautiful as is, but paired with that, you look like an angel!"
At this point Touka was a blushing mess, embarrassed by all the complements.
"Well, I'll go next then." Kim, deciding to save Touka from more embarrassment, volunteered herself.
Having probably already been secretly searching for her semblance earlier, Kim didn't take long to find it, or so she says.
"I...I °know° it's there. I can °feel° it! Bu-but I don't know what exactly! I can tell I have to do something, but °what° exactly is so confusing!" A worried expression crossed Kim's face since her semblance shows no physical signs of activating.
"Ooh! Go check your Status!" Penny suggested, prompting Kim to do just that. Despite being as great as it is, the DCG surprisingly has a lot of fixing up to do! The Status Window was still in the beta stages, only showing descriptions about us, like a bit of background and our personalities, height, and etc. However, part of the beta-Status was an Abilities tab, which showed our abilities, so maybe Kim can hopefully find her semblance there.
"Oh! Found it!" Hearing the relief in Kim's voice had caused me to similarly feel the same. I would be massively sad for my friend if we couldn't find out what her semblance was.
"It says here... [Savior: When you choose to save someone, physical abilities such as strength, flexibility, and agility will gradually increase. Increased abilities will quickly reset once the chosen target/s are saved or considered as such.]" While reading her Semblance's description, Kim's eyes gradually grew bigger and bigger, surprise being evident in them.
"That's so overpowered." Touka muttered in jest, laughing merrily at our friends reaction.
"Take a seat, °Hero°. It's my time to shine." With a small nudge, I urged the still dumbfounded Kim to go back to the group.
As Penny said, use your instinct to find you semblance. As with ny aura, I °looked° deep in me and searched. It didn't take long for me to find something and pull it out. Once I regained the feeling of aura, I also felt something else.
Like with Kim, I was confused. I know that it was there. I can feel that it's there. But it was hard to perfectly get a grasp of it. Was this the difference of naturally awakening your aura and having someone do it for you? Or is it because we "originally" had nothing to begin with?
"Ugh. That's so annoying." As I grumbled about, I opened my status screen and immediately went to my Ability list.
Scrolling through the four abilities I obtained from the Ability Tickets, I finally found it.
"[Voice of Greed-] Ooooh~! [Voice of Greed: A voice as tempting like a Succubus's, luring like a Siren's, and as malleable like a Fay's, just say what you want, and you'll have it all!]"

"Testing, testing- ooh~. Does this sound like a dommy-mommy voice?" I asked my friends as I immediately used my semblance to modify my voice. Looking at them, I smirked at the blush that appeared on their faces. My voice was already great as is, and I was even able to do a dommy-mommy voice, albeit only barely decent, but after gaining an ability that complemented my already great voice, now paired with my semblance? I can be whoever I want!!!
Without waiting for their input, I immediately put my semblance to the test! "Testing, testing, sheeeesh~!" And wouldn't you know it, I sound like Elira Pendora!
However, before I could try the voices of my favorite VTubers, I was suddenly pulled away by Touka.
"Okay, okay! We get it you narcissistic bitch! You have a nice voice! So shut up already!" You know, Touka, your words would have had more effect if you weren't blushing like that.
"Kuhum. Well, it's my turn now." Despite wanting to do either a perfect Petra Gurin or Enna Alouette impression, my focus was immediately on 2B.
Just like those before her, 2B did not take long to find her Semblance. And unlike Kim and I who had to go through our Status to find out what our semblance did, 2B didn't need to do at that moment, not when she was radiating a soft glow that was causing the grass around her to rapidly grow.

As the girls were trying out their semblances, I was looking through my abilities while singing my favorite sings using their singer's voices. Currently I was singing Birds of Time by Enna Alouette.
[Dancing: Dancing isn't °just° dancing. Dancing is an art given life! Everything can be a dance!]
The DCG abilities/skills weren't your conventional Gamer System type of abilities and skills. To the DCG, everything is an ability! From sleeping, to turning into a giant! And unlike with Gamer Skills and Abilities, it doesn't have a leveling system. It simply works like any other normal skill, something that gets better through repetitive actions and hard work, which isn't really that different from with how Gamer Skills and Abilities level up.
However, the DCG and Gamer System differ with how the Abilities act. The DCG Abilities didn't have a numerical value. It didn't have a +10% damage or the like. It simply is an ability that you cultivate, the only limit to it being your own limit and creativity! And receiving or buying an ability from the DCG isn't like with the Gamer System, because you would have to start from scratch, unlike being given a Fireball Skill and being able to cast it that instant, which was disappointing. Thankfully enough, the good thing about the Ability was that it was quicker to learn and strengthen!
[Singing: Music has that power to instill an emotion into someone not like normal words can. Words can save someone, can touch someone's hearts and stay there, but music is something everyone will hear.]
This skill right here, paired with my semblance? Well, I could easily sing a song about world domination and I'll have everyone wrapped around my little fingers.
And sadly, all the good Abilities stopped there.
[Whistle: Princesses can summon birds with a whistle, can you do any better?]
I admit, I wasn't good at whistling, but I still didn't need this ability!
[Cleaning: Clean your space, clear your mind.]
I honestly think this was an attack. I mean, yeah, I barely clean my room, but come on!
Unexpectedly the peaceful moment was suddenly ruined by a ringing in my brain.

With the sudden appearance of the Emergency Mission, and having only a few seconds, we all scrambled about to get our items. And just as I put my bag inside my inventory, we were promptly teleported.
