Edgy af, but maybe this is what we actually need?
???
I believe it's the base stat. So, this sentence is saying that the overall strength, which includes equipped item increases, is considered over the base strength stat without any gear when meeting an item's stat restrictions.
...
When did he get the five tails?
Ah yes, obligatory pep talk
Omg... Finally, an mc who's flexible enough to work with people yet decisive enough to leave.
It's killing time... *Stares suspiciously at Amanda and Celia*
"We'll definitely survive! Ignore the fact that the author hasn't given us names, we totally have some importance and survive for a long time!"
Honestly, I liked it. Concept was nice, and not common. The MC is, to put it in a bad way, weird, to put it in a good way, he's just eccentric. For me, his personality is a breath of fresh air. Story is pretty nice, also it has a good twist for the vr genre. I can let that weak/inconsistent gaming system slide. I'd say this is pretty unique. My only qualm is about the grammar mistakes. Like using the wrong words but similar words, or confusing sentence construction sometimes. But they are all readable, if anything, it must be because of writing fatigue or because there is no editor.
Hmm, so each item has skill trees? Or only unique ones? Wouldn't that mean Steel Melody would have to level up their skill tree again if she changes shields? Or is the black staff just a special case to be differentiated from a 'staff weapon skill tree'.
What? Why was Black Staff mentioned precisely? Shouldn't it just be Staff weapon tree? Maybe if it was Dark staff, it would be fine since it's a dark matter weapon.
I don't get it, what does leveling up offer to the players then? Also, it was mentioned that you need to level up classes, but it seems separate from the actual level fo the player. Could it be that what you level up are classes, then the official level would come from the calculation of the total stats, so stengthening classes would increases stats, and those stats dictate level. Idk, I don't really get the system here, how confusing. We also haven't seen the stats of our mc or anyone else, just things like + INT or something on items. The story is fun though, but I hope we get more clarification about the leveling system.
Also, doesn't Angelica have a great technique that hides her aura? Other demons probably don't have that to infiltrate, and any demonic energy would be caught before getting in the Leviathan building. Higher ranked demons could probably infiltrate, but they should not have that much interest in the lock, or they are tied down by other higher ranked beings of the different races.
Ah yes, of course the mc gets more proficient in his sleep. HAHAHA! Ren, your novel was so balanced!
Redundant.
