I really appreciate your commentary, mostly for those unaware of this information! Yes the saiyans has defeated then physically and their shadow in the system. I tend to write more grandiose because I like that style when narrating certain things. But they haven't defeated the psychical manifestation of the hive mind. There's no main ship, and when you actually target the ships with the norn queens, and kill them, they actually produce more of them, creating a hydra effect. The Hive Mind spread out to prevent them from actually doing it, forcing them to defend instead of attacking them.

I didn't nerf the Saiyans...? Is just the scale of numbers is ridiculous, and the saiyans have one big disadvantage here, they want to protect the planet. Even if they were to use their abilities without restraint, the scale of numbers and the distances they would need to cover is just insane. Even if they kill billions upon billions it would be but a drop in the sea of enemies. The tyranids would undoubtedly landfall into the planet. All I'm going to say is that first see how the battle unfold before coming into a conclusion.

I mean there's a real and blaring reason why humanity took such radical approach to technology in Warhammer 40k. Although we may have our reasons to be against the clear nerf of the Imperium. It does make sense within the setting.
Why would they need to waste so many lives, when they could adopt Xenos technology and improve the survivability of their soldiers?
