It's not just about having them, or knowing what they are, you have to kind of learn how to use them, and I don't think MC's powers can make him understand them enough that he would be able to use them better than Thanos, or even close to it for that matter.
Savant knew that he was no match for Thanos in his current state. If the infinity stones were out of the equation, Savant was sure that he could beat down Thanos to the ground. True, for me, it's because I see it as the dude who is born and will get his memories is just going to get powers and information, so the "entity" talking to Tom here, and the one that is going to the Marvel world is not the same anymore, which makes it so the "MC" has no reason to get excited here since at the end of the day it's not really him going there. (at least that is ho I see this)

True, but they do, and despite them being an essence of the sea, there is nothing that dictates they should work the same way, as the stones have a stronger capability in affecting devil fruit users than the sea itself, I even sometimes think the reason the sea works the way it does against them is because of something related to sea stones and not the other way around, though I never stopped to think much on that theory in specific.

The sea does not nullify powers, but sea stone does, which is why they used cuffs made of it to seal Marco's powers in the war, or when Luffy and Smoker were in a cell made of it they could not leave, when Luffy and Kid where captured by Kaidow they could not use their power, and many other instances

I agree with you 100%, the problem is that in cannon they seem to be sure Robin is the last one, and the only way for them to be so sure of that is if they knew that they killed all the scholars(and even if some survived in this case, they may not know for reasons we do not know), by using some Akuma no mi power, or something else to know who where all of them, and trusted that, or they know that some of them escaped and don't think those are much of a treat, I am more inclined toward the first one because of their surprise with something that happens in the manga recently, but that would be spoiler.

I honestly do not remember anymore how it started specifically because I stopped reading, but he does not know she was there just dancing, he goes there to spy on her, and she just so happens to be dancing, after the first time yes he goes there wanting to see just the dancing, but even if we do not consider that, the fact stands that she did not want people looking while she was dancing (if I am not mistaken it was because she was not dressed decently) and he knows that, and still decided to do just that, until he knows her better and she starts not to care, or what, are you saying is it ok to spy on people and that is totally "diginifying".
