It is such a wildly insecure reason to add it that it's not even funny. Why even bother making it a skill if you the author have the power to do that off screen? I find these types of cliches lame because it strips away any "real" emotions from the character. Not saying I want to see ntr or stuff like that, especially if it makes them eternally meek and submissive then most of the fun is gone when they do everything without some disagreement to make it spicier or stuff like that
