He got thousands years of memories from the shwazens and Ruby's digestor, he's still probably confused about himself and the situation he's in. It's like being through a terrible hangover and trying to remember what have you done while being drunk, just a thousand times worse.
What's the difference between NPC's and humans in 100% realism? He says it does not matter that you kill them because they are not real, but if everything is 100% real then after leaving the game he would have 0 scruples to slice your throat and enjoy the spring.
Well for rumours to spread, you first need eye witnesess. Ofc, you don't need to mind my way of reading books, I like to question everything I see. Like how did he managed not to be seen once, even with armor, it's not like underground society can't get their hands on RPG's, grenades or anti-material sniper rifles, they could certainly shoot through his armor like paper. 0.5calibre bullets can pierce tank armor. And if you know that a psycho is hunting down underground members you would be prepared for it, at least somewhat. If that does not work, you can try using vehicle mines, which explode when a strong pressure used of about 140kg lands on it. Similar ones are used in Ukraine now to stop russian tanks
Can someone explain, how no one seems to recognize a giant in the middle of the city? He is 6.6feet tall with huge muscles, everywhere you go, you would attract eyes. Even in our world, camera's can recognize a person wearing a mask or a helmet just from a body structure, in certain countries. How come in this more advanced world, they somehow can't. And it's not like his IQ is off the charts like Cyanide, who could potentially hack into database and delete the info someone got on him. Well it's a little logic gap, but so far so good
That last sentence of yours perfectly describes your whole comment... Main character not being overpowered from the beginning is the best. How do you expect some growth if he's already at his limit? Or perhaps you don't like struggling mc's, because it relates too much to your personal life and you want something more fantasy like to escape from that crippling depression? Other characters being just as strong is perfectly normal if you read the backstories of some just like the author provided.. It's not like he was anything special before everything started. Just a normal, but broken man. Dialogue - well I have no comment on this one, every book is unique and most of the time no one in real life even talks this eloquently in most of them. So this point is the only one where I can't say if its right or wrong. Because it is personal opinion. Hero complex - there is no such thing. This guy is daydreaming. I'm not even sure at this point if he read the same book as me xd. It's especially funny how he says, it's strange being manipulated by the businessman or falling into his ploy or whatever.. Why? Since prehistorical age, most of the time, it was brains that won against brawn and not the other way around. This guy probably likes when everyone else is as dumb as bricks so that the mc could shine with his stupid decisions. Basically this guy is delusional, he is one of the guys who rate normal novels bad, so that you could turn to his favorite genre of generic chinese wuxia trash.
His real superpower is not actually superintelligence, well not the biggest advantage anyways. More like that advanced, lost knowledge that gets transferred to him as he goes on. And he immediately knows applications and what to do with it, a cheatsheet in a way. Others are just casually struggling finding what interests them, he on the other hand already knows everything he wants to know. Hopefully he does not slip up, because the life he feared being locked up would become reality otherwise
Calling other people trash just because your ideals clash with theirs is just silly. If he does not understand their end goals, that's even more so. Humanity's history is worse compared to anything these guys did. Even the advancement in certain fields had more sacrifices to show decent results. I'm not saying it does not matter that people die, it does for sure, but he probably killed more than them in his last life so that's just hypocritical of him to denounce others
It's an interesting story as far as I went, but I can't continue reading it, the grammar and syntax are killing me. It takes all the joy away from me and ruins the immersion in it. It's like I can understand the story while at the same time can't and it ticks me off. If author gets a proof reader or improves later on, I will come back, probably..
He only used the 5 of hearts to defeat Aquila, they are pretty self explanatory, except for the joker cards. Hearts heal, one of them help with defenses, the other one with creation, and the last one for attacking, not sure of the order, but don't use more of your braincells when you have to. Everything will be more explained if there is a need for it
Well. I'm already at chapter 30 and since his friends potential is at S as well, they don't seem like garbage teammates. I came to this novel after reading the return of the woodcutter, I like system novels which are not stupid. Suuper hard to find good ones, most of them don't make any sense (well some sense, since it's all still a fantasy)..
How is he gonna use a bow with no hands? xd In all honesty it would make more sense, to increase a skill or attributes levels for animals, since they have no need for such things as weapons. Their bodies already are strong, at least stronger than humans. If animals had intelligence comparable to humanity's then we would of all died long ago, before any of us could invent anything noteworthy
I disagree. Killing them will not impact the big picture. You might think, that 300 are a lot, but in the grand scheme of things, that matters little. There is especially good quote from Napoleon “what one should really fear is not a competent enemy, but an incompetent ally". These people would change nothing, their fear or lack or power in such a world would only bring demise to their teammates. If you read to at least a part where he sparred with Gwen, you would know that 300 people are just one punch away, not even worth as a cannon fodder, more like air since their sacrifice would not even amount to second in the real battlefield with that kind of power. They would just probably die by the shockwave of one blow between two elites.. so yeah
