What worked in their favour, was Edward actually didn't know that the Dalki was part of Quinn's group. He had assumed that the Dalki had come randomly during the fight and was a separate problem altogether. So when they asked him about it, he never tried vouching for it either. Even when they had used the influence skill to ask who was part of their plan, he did not know. So that discussion was dealt as a separate problem to the rest. - PrinceofSin3yrCommented

Well ‘using us’ is degrading themselves. They are the first vampires. It should have been something like begging us or pleading us. That would’ve sounded better.

Dude i dont care if he limits his power, he should still have the skills to take down opponents of higher level with his experience. And dying from bots? Seriously?
