5 Chapter 5: Responsibilities and hopes.

I didn't expect applause, I didn't expect excited screams, I know my race don't act like barbarians.

They value rationality and logic; they were programmed that way. They had emotions, but it's been suppressed.

Because of that, I was pleased to see their shocked faces, and shortly afterward, they bowed with a show of respect, saying, "Long live Emperor Rao! Long live the God Rao! "

A simple speech without emotions, but that contained a great deal of weight and determination, they were putting their hopes and dreams on me.

A great responsibility, but for some reason, I didn't feel that responsibility was a burden, only gratefulness, and motivation.

My people were motivated, and so was I. Now, it was time for me to act.

I flew back to the commander's chair.

"Everyone back to work!"

"Yes, Sir!"

With Faora and Zod at my side, I ask: "Report on the planet 'Earth.'"

A black-haired woman stood up and said, "Sir, just as we imagined, this is a barbaric planet, their level of technology is far below ours."

I nodded; I expected this. "Something else?"

"Yes, as you can see in some areas, our scanners were unable to penetrate, as if it's been protected by a barrier of some sort."

"Oh?" I look at the hologram in front of me and see some places on the planet with black areas, which meant that we could not analyze the entire planet.

'One location on the ocean and the other location in the middle of nowhere? It must be an island or something. '

This is strange ... There is no way for a barbarian planet to defend itself from our technology ... Unless this planet has hidden civilizations.

It is not something new. Generally, civilizations decide to hide out of fear, and it is usually these civilizations that are most advanced.

This fear can be anything, but it is usually fear of war; after all, weak beings fear the strong and the unknown.

I can think of two possibilities. First; Civilization got tired of interacting with the world and decided to isolate itself.

Second: The civilization, for some unknown reason, had to isolate itself.

I can think of several other possibilities, but.

"Tell me the story of this planet."

I need to analyze more.

"History is repeated by wars and destruction, it is nothing new on barbarian planets." I nod in agreement.

Generally, less developed planets are prone to wars. The trigger of war can happen anywhere, ideology, race, betrayal, exploitation. Anything can be the trigger for a war to happen.

War just wastes resources and makes people suffer, but ironically, these same wars help technology evolve.

"Any special individuals?"

Special individuals are people who have powers; these powers can vary from race to race.

"No, Sir."

This is strange; something does not make sense. I start tapping my finger on the commander's chair.

"Did you find the boy?"

"Yes, he was located." A hologram of the planet appears in front of me, indicating the location of the Kryptonian child.

With a gesture of my hand, the hologram changed to the image of a baby being held by two humanoids, a woman and a man.

"Oh? Was he adopted? "

"What should we do, sir?" The subordinate asked.

"I will pick him up, of course. It is absurd for a Kryptonian to be raised by someone of that race. " The woman nods in agreement with my words.

"Are we going to invade?" General Zod asks.

I look at him like he's a fool. "General Zod, I do not intend to start a war ... And if I wanted to start a war, I would first have to meet my enemies, I do not intend to fight unknown enemies without information."

"They are just barbarians."

I sigh. "Zod, you studied history, right?"

"Yes."

"How many times have Kryptonians been defeated by barbarians?"

"... four times in all history."

I nod my head. "Do not underestimate a race because you think it is weak, if you are going to fight a war, you must know your enemy first, fighting a war blindly is pure nonsense."

Before he says anything, I continue. "Currently, we have two unknowns on this planet. Our technology is much more advanced than this planet, but even so our scanners have failed to penetrate some area, what does that mean? "

General Zod said without changing his expression, but it contained a little surprise: "... that there are two groups that can defend themselves against our scanners ...."

I nod my head. "I thought about that too."

I get up from the command chair. "I want you to continue collecting information about this planet, not just this planet. I want you to analyze the entire solar system, try to find out if any planet is useful for collecting resources, I also want you to look for information from leaders politicians."

I also need to check something, 'Where is the green lantern responsible for this sector? Has he been abandoned? '

"Yes, Sir!"

...

Standing in front of a small ship, talking to Ursa, my subordinate. "I already said, you are not coming with me."

I can't have a woman who hates men with me; what if you kill a native man just because you find him uncomfortable?

"But, Sir! You will be unprotected. "

With my current powers, I don't need protection, but I understand that I must have bodyguards with me. After all, it's an unknown planet.

"Don't worry, Ursa. I can protect him. "

"Faora ... Can you really protect him?"

Faora frowns in irritation: "Are you doubting my skills?"

Realizing that this is going to get out of hand, I order: "Enough!"

The two look at me and bow. "I'm sorry, Sir."

I look at Ursa. "Ursa, I can't have you as my coast guard, because of your hatred for men, the situation will be problematic if you kill a native."

"Don't worry, sir. I can control myself. " She spoke with a smug expression.

I look at Zod. "How many times has she tried to kill a male Kryptonian today?"

Zod clicked on a few buttons on the armor and opened a hologram. "Since we arrived at this solar system, it has tried to kill 21 Kryptonian men."

"..."

I look at Ursa, who is looking away.

"It is decided, you are not going!"

"But, Sir !!"

I ignored it and entered the small ship, I call it a small ship, but it can easily support twenty people.

"General Zod, I'm going to get the baby Kryptonian, I'll leave you in charge of the ship."

"Yes, Sir!"

"Come on, Faora."

"Yes."

I enter the ship with Faora and sit on a black throne. 'Why is there a throne here?'

Faora walked to the cockpit and sat in the pilot's chair.
