They would react negatively towards a religion that saw them as lesser beings. Why is making an accurate statement a weakness? it's not like Rimuru was strong enough to beat Milim either. Dude had to literally ascend to godhood and recreate the world to be able to be stronger than Milim. it's not that Momo is weak, it's that Milim is genuinely too strong.

I don't really see the reason for her to try and fit in if she's a ten-foot-tall dragon horned lady. that average height in that village is like 5'6'' and so she would literally be twice that of everyone there. changing her cloths ain't gonna do anything.
