Aaaah so because someone watches anime, they should have predicted that a little girl in an alley was an illusion set up by some child kidnappers to abduct him huh? Sounds completely reasonable to me, what does the mc have to predict next chapter? That the thugs were actually fully grown dragons able to perceive him trying to escape their clutches? Come the f*** on, go read another story if the only thing you are looking for is an all knowing OP mc that doesn't make any mistakes through their whole life.
No because this was the first thing i thought about when i read the title lol
The idea behind this round is interesting but how is it possible to even afford to make a heavy mech when the MC already had to spend all his points just for a capable medium mech? They mentioned that heavy mechs are far more expensive to create then any other mech? This heavy mech should not have to many tricks with the limited price they got
Doesn't seem to weird to me đ
That's a good guess
Yeah... i have never liked this type of stuff, the author can't give him to many challenges in the game right now so he has to do it irl where the rich are the most powerfull. Gives such an unfair feeling as we are seeing the mc work tirelessly in becoming stronger inside the game but then we just go outside and is not able to do anything. Very cliche way to try and create tension in the real world.
Atm at chapter 201 and i'm sorry but i do not understand why so many people love this story. The main character feels bland, not much emotion, character progression or actually any traits that make him feel unique. While reading i started noticing that any monster the mc kills always gives a standard amount of exp like 1 xp or 10 xp per kill, there is no variable at all. All "Elite" monsters give 10000xp and every "super" monster gives 20000. No change at all even though there is always a level difference. Idk if there is a system behind it because i cannot remember having the author explain anything about the way of how exp works. Also some abilities, monsters, spells feel far to broken. in between chapter 150-200 the mc got hit by a spell that made him immobile for 10 seconds. 10 SECONDS!! Using this on any melee class player would be downrite broken. At chapter 201 he is fighting two level 50 mages that can afflict curses. These curses literally take half of all your attributes and health away from you. Afterwards they have a bleeding curse that bleeds for an big amount of damage every second. How can any player with the same level win from that as your stats literally turn you back to a lvl 20-30 players while you take bleed damage? And then lastly how balanced is it to have golems that have the stats of lvl 60 Elite monsters or bombs that can literally wipe out entire party's of players? Last point is where are the discriptions of some spells? Why do the mc's spells take % mana but his sisters spells take a flat amount? We are not getting any information about health, mana or any other skills of enemy monsters but we do get the stats of the golems he was able to obtain? It feels like the author is just deliberately keeping out this info to make it easier on himself. Even loot from treasure chests they sometimes don't give all the info about. This makes it feel like the author keeps this a secret so he can just make up any item really quickly when he needs to on the fly and is able to "justify" it this way. So much information that is part of this "game" isn't given to us. that's why i cannot understand why people are so positive about this story. As for those that want to say that my reading status is only chapter 50 then yes that is correct but i don't have the insane amounts of money to fully unlock this book while it is only barely keeping me reading so i am reading this on another site atm.
Pretty good story so far, currently at chapter 960 and can say that in terms of quality it's one of the better ones on webnovel. Compared to the stories that are currently getting released it's 100% worth a try. Still this story is not perfect though, there are some points that could be improved or be taken into consideration as they do sometimes annoy me. I'll list my personal +/- points down below: +: English quality is great, In terms fo grammatical errors it would be hard to find any in the currently 960 chapters that are out. +: Update stability is great aswell, mostly 2 chapters a day. Sometimes it happens that the author only released 1 chapter, but they try to fix that the next day. +: The characters feel alive, even though there are some stereotype characters, their personality's feel real and throughout the story we see them developing as specific events unfold. Some of my favorite chapters are actually when they are focussing on the character developement between different characters. +: Even though it's not done perfect i can appreciate that the author is trying to hide the main plot point of the story and is revealing small amounts of information over time to make the reader guess and connect different threats. (+/- points you can see as a positive or negative point depending on personal opinion) +/-: The pace of the story is slow, depending if you like this or not but it is currently a meme that the main character is never gonna go past his current level.(Which is not the case but he hasn't gotten any level for the last 500-600 chapters) +/-: Currently it's heavely implied that the mc is gonna have a harem. Still i have to say is that even if you dislike it i would give it a try, the characters that could be part of this harem are all well developed and i have taken a liking to every single one. I can say with confidence that this is not gonna be a harem that is just adding different looking girls to add more variety. -: Far to much detail, the author has a tendency to add alot more unnecessary text when they explain something. Using like 5 to 6 lines of text for something that can be explained well in like 2 lines. -: Exaggeration, this adds abit the the previous point but the author likes to exaggerate things a ton creating countless moments were the mc and other characters are "shocked beyond words" because of some reveal while at some points i find it unnecessary. It's used at so many occasions that it can become annoying. -: Something that the author has started doing around halfway into the story is delaying the time were we find out about specific skills or stats of other items to create tension. Now if this happens once every now and then it would be fine, but this started happening with every single item or skill that was a little bit important. Some of these items/skills have already been hyped up for 10/20 chapters and the moment the reveal happens we only get a name and the author still hides the rest of the stats. It creates a great deal of frustration as the hype moment the story was building up to was ruined and the moment the stats are revealed its to late to get that hype back. -: I'm gonna add this small point after looking at other peoples reviews. I personally don't like the way of how the author reacts to negative reviews. I accept that some of these reviews are just straight up trash talking about what they don't like but others atleast try to get some points across and the reaction from the author feels very childish to me. Take it however you want but i don't see any reactions to the more negative reviews that are trying to point out thigns that the author can improve apon.
To be fair, we deserved this time skip.
From what's inplied he can see in the dream right?
To be fair i'm getting a little tired of this. The author is building up to this moment, building suspense to the eventual reveal and then the author just says ooh f no wait for another x amount of chapters. It was the same with his skill golden bones. We didnt get the info about it immediatly and when we finally got it i felt nothing. The hype was already gone and the only thing i felt was ooh okay that's what that skill does. I think it's a terrible choice as now i just feel annoyed instead of excited.
How would they even win this fight when all the kings are currently residing in the gales kingdom? That's 49 Third order humans against one Third order general and maybe a few initial stage Third order devils.
Soo can anyone tell me why Bai Zemin immediatly comes to the conclusion of the mermaid princes betraying him?? Seems to me that he to quickly assumed that she has something to do with this....
To be fair this chapter felt really emty, the only thing that happend in this entire chapter was them shooting the cannon and rise up into the sky. Now that we are done with the pagoda's i want to see them return. So this chapter was abit of a dissapoinment for me...
They probably count, the author is probably trying to have Bai Zemin complete his requirements without sending him to a different world.
The story said that he did that already bit now they are reverting it, feels abit weird.
To be fair, i don't feel like she is worth a redemtion arc atm. I don't care that she regrets it as that is a normal thing after realising you did something wrong. She needs a punishment for what she has done, otherwise it's not fair for Bai Zemin, who had to suffer for much longer. People have to learn that some mistakes cannot be reverted and they will have to live with it for the rest of their lives. So even though she is feeling bad to how she is being treated, i'm of the opinion that she just has to get used to it and accept it instead of even trying to be with him again. All the redemption that she deserved, she has already gotten imo.
and these people are supposed to have atleast a few braincells? Come on you don't need to be smart to understand that these creatures are mostly unintellegent and the only difference for them between adults and children is the amount of food they are eating....
I agree that crying in these kinds of situations is not the most realistic, as i personally see it more in a way of panic and/or terror and crying is not really a thing you do if your body goes into survival mode. Still i think the author is more trying to make a point that a normal kid that has till now only heard stories about aether beasts shouldn't be able to stay calm and collected in this kind of situation, and atleast the panic that is shown is a very natural reaction to it.
