Will be detailed when the time comes. But roughly put: Mystics are body awakeners, but more broadly, they come under the domain of Life. (Sage Avenue has Body, Mind, and Morper paths. These paths are under the Domains of Life & Death). Mystics can now use their force to go down the path of a perfect body that can even withstand black holes or they can go down the route of harnessing the power of life externally. The ones who can use their power externally are Forcenders. They're still amateurish and cannot affect other living beings as much. But when they make another transition, they can gain much more control over life. Some of the feats those high-rankers can achieve include enslaving lifeforms on a planet, cutting off the vitality of enemies directly, speeding up life cycles, and more. They're like a diety of Life but much weaker version.
She doesn't know he comes from the civilization Havoc is going to attack.
Should be water. My bad. Havoc's fire/lightning affinity slipped in here somehow.
I wonder too, if we'll see it in our lifetime. The cynical part of me says if they find us first crossing light years of space and countless star systems, they'd be so advanced we wouldn't be able to fight back for a day. But if humanity and another race found each other while exploring the Universe, perhaps a story like this would be a reality. Abyssals have perished, Fairies are now a crippled civilization that wouldn't be able to protect itself in the upcoming Providence Trial and risks losing protection against genocide, humans lost more than 4 Billion lives. Life is very fragile and consciousness is very precious. We're all lucky to be here, no matter the situation.
It was aimed at a limb. So, no.
He's peak level 9 in couple of hid 8 Paths. He didn't reach the Sovereign state in any oath as it'd essentially bind his origin to the avenue and make him miss rest of the Paths. So, he's working a way out to retain all Paths in Sov state and there after.
I tried to improvise it. Check it out again.
Abyssal rulers believed it'd be an easy victory and went onto setting up the altars and properly establishing their abysses in the solar system—time taking processes—because they believed their army would just win by the time the set up is finished and all they have to do is transfer the loot. Abyssals traveled decades to come to solar system. They weren't in their best shape. Much of the early war happened in the absence of abyss kings. Even then, Humans were cornered and planets came close to being conquered. All the treasures accumulated in 300 years—some very precious and almost as good as artifacts—were sacrificed. The abyssals also picked an attitude of hunting the prey slowly and giving them hope coz they’d need a couple of years to set up the altars necessary to open space portals anyway. So, yes. They didn't take humans seriously. Even though level 9s grew rapidly under the pressure of war, the abyss kings never felt threatened. Besides, a good chunk of the army was working on the second most important project: Shielding solar system from others. Its a mix of factors, but it's mostly on abyssals. Even after Sovereigns appeared, human army was in no way comparable to stop abyssals. But the catch is the exploration of ruins began in earnest only during this period. Back then, it's an unexplored treasure trove. Humans literally burnt Hills of treasures to stay alive. The easy treasures in ruins were all used up. It's a mix of multiple factors, yes. Things seemed to be moving so fast now, but without Var, the war still dragged for a month. The devil is in the details. These are not two equal forces. Abyssals have almost 1.5x L9. Average L9 has a good chance of being a sub level higher Abyssals have almost 2x L8 and at least 3x L7. Besides these, they are blessed with countless treasures, big and small. These two are not equal armies at all. And they're fighting at their best. If the abyssals were even 30% weaker, war would've easily taken a year.
Both of them were totally unexpected circumstances for a civilization so weak. It's like grabbing a random guy on the street and him turning out to be a billionaire. Had there not beeb the wild card Varian, ghostship would've been captured and humans would've ended during Valos saga.
It's been a few months on Earth until this point. That's why Var is also worried.
??? Time flow is faster on earth in the sense the fee weeks Var spent here ended up being months on earth.
