I kinda a hate when author use other characters to hype up the MC unnecessarily, it comes across as forced. Just let them reacts as characters not mouth pieces.

This is what happened in your world and so I can't argue with it. But from the sounds of it, he was able to have very human conversation. I don't know if you've watched her or even talked to the latest AI models, but this would not be even close to what would happen with a super intelligent Ai. So of anything it would make more sense if talking to him was like talking to the Emperor of 40K—basically he always knows what to say to people, and is good at manipulation.
