Can he not go to any zoo within 24 hours?? An animal like lion or tiger will be better than a husky no matter how well trained the husky is. He can already keep the animal in special space so all he has to do is go to the zoo, communicate with some stronger animal species and bide his time till every body is gone. He can be the last person to leave the zoo taking the time to capture the agreed animal at the last second and taking it with him. It's not like they anyone can know that it was he who took it.

Yes, armadillo could not outrun snakes but the snakes couldn't hurt the armadillo either and after trying and failing for sometime they probably would have given up. It's not like they would keep striking it till their teeth fell off.

Can an Armadillo breathe underwater?? If not, this doesn't make sense. He has tough exterior shell which can make snakebites useless. Unless it's something like a boa constrictor he would have been fine just rolling out of here.

After reading almost half of the chapters published till now (chapter 41) here are some of the observations that I have made. The writing quality is average. It could have been better but I've read far worst. Till now, there's very little known about the world. Other than the basic setting, in everything is unknown. The story is really slow paced. Author goes back on his own words and logics when it suits him without caring about what he himself said a few chapters ago. I guess that the author has already addressed the pacing issue but it's vague at best. The MC (supposedly) hates social interaction but is overly enthusiastic when interacting with others. The dialogues feels like they were written by someone who is into playing SIM games. The interaction between characters feel unrealistic. It's like the Author doesn't know normal interaction is like. It is good to be kind and polite with others but everytime the MC interacts with others he either comes off as "Goody-two-shoes" or a flirt. That or the MC is simply very, very optimistic. There are sometimes things that don't make sense about the MC's behaviour. There is the same issue with the other characters too.

I thought that Fizz could use devouring only after evolving. How come it can do so as a normal slime now?? Did it already evolve or something?? I found no mention of it evolving.

Am I the only one who feels like the word after the slash can very well be a swear word??

What's with 'protagonist parents already dead trope' in recent novels?? Most Authors follow it like it's the new law or something.

After reading over 40 chapters and an avid One Piece fan, I have come to a conclusion that the the story is really boring. The MC has no aspirations, the story has no sense of exploration, wonder and adventure that is One Piece's one of 'the' if not 'THE' most important features. We have no character development because we don't know the true character of the MC as of now. This feels like a wish fulfilment story where the MC just wants to look like a badass but comes up short because there is nothing unique about the story other than the fact that it takes place at the time of Rocks pirates, which again is not unique just less explored.

You do know that Penance stare can only work on people who actually have some sort of guilt in them and would be ineffective if the person doesn't have any guilt?? I dont't think demons of Demon Slayer world would have any kind of guilt for the things that they have done to humans. Some might have guilt but mostly of opportunities they missed but I don't think it warrents their deaths. This is also the reason there are antagonists that Ghost Rider has to find other ways with which he can defeat them.

I know teamwork is really important but I dare the authors of all these so called sports animes to name players at the top who plays for the team first and not for themselves. It's a notion which is only good in stories and animes but is subjective in real life.
