They have a foster system. Google it.

I could probably end this farce of a life with her at this moment. She didn't want me anyway. But then again I didn't know what awaited me once I left this place. It could be like from one foster home to another like shown in most of the movies. Or it could be a quiet, boring but stable life.

    You have a dirty mind...

As the duo brainstormed ideas for the scene, I took a moment to catch my breath. The energy on set was electric, and Stephen's words earlier had lit a fire under me. There was also an invisible weight on my shoulders to carry the film. A weight that I hadn't felt in The Sixth Sense because of Bruce Willis' presence. He was the hero in that film, not me. Here, I'm all alone leading this film, and I can't make a single mistake. At the same time, I also knew that I couldn't let this get to my head, or my performance would suffer. I clapped my cheeks lightly to pump myself up.

    He will, at least initially.

"I want a skateboard," I said without needing to think it over. I wanted one so badly for quite some time, but for some reason, I didn't feel like asking for it until now.

Thanks for your review. For story recommendations, there are 'I'm on TV', 'Tycoon Actor in Hollywood', and 'Hollywood: The Greatest Showman', all on this site. Though given how you have read up this genre, you might have already read them. I don't think you'd find 'realistic' stories in this genre as you're looking for because I didn't either. That's why I wrote my own story.

It would make sense for him to do GOT if he wasn't playing Harry Potter. GOT would mean a long term commitment of at least three/nine years (if he's Robb or Jon). I was toying with the idea to make him Khal Drogo, but I don't think it would work out.

[Harry Potter] and [The Lord of the Rings] were two series that started it all, with unknown casts that rocked the movie world to its core.

They changed it during the Cannes film festival where the winner was called 'Dancer in the Dark'.

Thank you! From the general feedback I have been getting, people want him to waste less time on 'useless kid things'. Nonetheless, I habe made it a plot point later on about how he is focusing on his work so much.

The film was shot in 1999, so Jamie was 13. As for the guilt, you can't help it when you feel it.

When I first saw the film, I was a kid who hadn't read the books, so for me Voldy turning to ash was one of coolest things ever. Later on, when I got older and read the books, I understood the importance of him dying like a common man. So I get why the filmmakers went that route because it was very cinematic. Like I said earlier, some things which seem nice on paper, are not so on film.

It's a book. Started it years ago but didn't finish, so I don't remember exactly if it was good.

This is actually a paraphrased quote by Paulo Cohelo from the Alchemist. But yes, I heard it in OSO as well.

Arrogance is a common trait for most celebrities for a reason. They are put on a pedestal, every person beyond their immediate family admires them. I know it is an unlikable trait, but I'm building it up for a crucial scene I have in mind for the future of the story.

That's pretty much the only reason for not giving up his citizenship. Heck, if I didn't want him to do HP, I wouldn't even make him British to begin with.

At one point, Steve suggested that I give up my British citizenship and become a full-fledged American, but I was hesitant. Thankfully, Kathy supported me, being a Brit herself.
