If I am not mistaken space mechs still have wings, don’t they? Moreover angel wings representing different design spirits fit the concepts of a versatile hero. Angels are usually perceived as heros and warriors. Having multiple different wings would represent power and versatility. I think it would fit quite nicely to the Everchanger concepts.

The Everchanger could have a wargear similar to angel wings. Each wing or pair of wings could represent a design spirit with different appearances and powers. It could be a growth based one as well, at least they could be added as the number of design spirits increase, with some limitations, of course. The wings could be used to enhance the prime abilities maybe incorporating a bit of standard exotics as well as prime materials.

I am not sure about fully organic mechs, maybe he could go for a cyborg one? Have the spirituality of the mech centered around some key internal organic parts that could be transplanted to upgraded mechanical bodies.. would it be too crazy??? Maybe it could cause some dissociative disorder in the mechs…
