I read into the raws, but not too far in, Honestly, the story itself is not bad, pretty good actually. The only thing that miffed me was: Spoiler Alert The main character seems to have a fetish for married women, not only the widowed kind either. Even that is OK I guess, in relative to how the author keeps describing the perspective of the men who lost their wife. It makes me a tad, no, very uncomfortable while reading. I'm enjoying the story, but man is this bothering me, always on the edge of my mind.
Can honest feedback really be honest? Not to mention that even if it is honest, is it objective? Impossible. The author's story is subjective towards his own desires, views, and beliefs. Him or her not wanting your subjectivity is perfectly normal as those who want it. It shouldn't be a requirement instead of being optional. After all, you're putting your heart and soul into a story and someone comes along saying you have to change your ways to this or that. If it was you would you have listened? And even if it was a positive reply, those who talk the talk may not have walked the walk.
Cat is cute. (´・ω・`)
I don't mind gender bender, in fact I think it's a bit fresh. Haven't seen this trope in a long time. But it's been a long time since I've seen an good translated female protagonist fantasy novel as well...
Absolutely S tier. The slight comedic undertone, witty remarks, and "perceptive observations" makes the story a bit lighter, which goes a long way. The story is interesting and the organizational structure of how the story is told, with the addition of multiple perspectives is amazing. It feels like every chapter is capturing my attention, except maybe the Ecchi scenes.
A pretty good trial read compared to its counterparts this week. The story progresses at a reasonable pace, and while the summary of the novel seems exaggerated, after reading, you will realize that the powers he achieves are from continuous effort and not a one off boon at the beginning of the story. The character personality for the main character is well developed; however, since there are only twenty chapters released, other characters and upcoming new characters may not have had their chance to truly show their respective distinct characteristics.
I like it. At first I thought it was going to be a zero to hero in a minute, slapping everyone's faces, etc, etc, but no. The cheat given to the protagonist still requires him to work hard, especially hard. In additionally, he is actually paving a path in cultivation, which is a bit unusual to see, even with cheats. Pretty nice.
Amazing trial read. Honestly couldn't have asked for better. The main character is nice and sane, behaving logically most of the time in his actions. His cheat is also very integral to the story, not in the way of making him stronger, but in the way of achieving the main objective of the story, which is saving humanity. It brings a much less written perspective of a over powered benefit given to the protagonist. Sharing is caring, especially when you can do nothing but that. It doesn't cripple the protagonist either.
I like this novel very much. It's amusing and the cheat is a nice addition to how the main character interacts with the world and characters around him. He's a comedic one as well. I also love how the different characters feel like they have different personalities, a bit of uniqueness for each person.
