The ignorant are blessed, while the wise despairs.
I don't mind gender bender, in fact I think it's a bit fresh. Haven't seen this trope in a long time. But it's been a long time since I've seen an good translated female protagonist fantasy novel as well...
Absolutely S tier. The slight comedic undertone, witty remarks, and "perceptive observations" makes the story a bit lighter, which goes a long way. The story is interesting and the organizational structure of how the story is told, with the addition of multiple perspectives is amazing. It feels like every chapter is capturing my attention, except maybe the Ecchi scenes.
For some reason I can't enjoy this at all. It feels very repetitive and a bit dull. I can see from the fans, contribution, and comment section that a lot of people like this trial read. Can someone explain to me why?
Love it! The small daily interactions of an ordinary cultivator, with a somewhat ordinary golden finger. Power ups are not stretching that far, and just the progression of the story is going smoothing.
If I remembered correctly, in chapter seven or eight, the story introduced one of the abilities featured in the contents of the summary. As for the others, you can't really expect that everything would be given in a measly twenty chapters?
A pretty good trial read compared to its counterparts this week. The story progresses at a reasonable pace, and while the summary of the novel seems exaggerated, after reading, you will realize that the powers he achieves are from continuous effort and not a one off boon at the beginning of the story. The character personality for the main character is well developed; however, since there are only twenty chapters released, other characters and upcoming new characters may not have had their chance to truly show their respective distinct characteristics.
I like it. At first I thought it was going to be a zero to hero in a minute, slapping everyone's faces, etc, etc, but no. The cheat given to the protagonist still requires him to work hard, especially hard. In additionally, he is actually paving a path in cultivation, which is a bit unusual to see, even with cheats. Pretty nice.
Amazing trial read. Honestly couldn't have asked for better. The main character is nice and sane, behaving logically most of the time in his actions. His cheat is also very integral to the story, not in the way of making him stronger, but in the way of achieving the main objective of the story, which is saving humanity. It brings a much less written perspective of a over powered benefit given to the protagonist. Sharing is caring, especially when you can do nothing but that. It doesn't cripple the protagonist either.
I like this novel very much. It's amusing and the cheat is a nice addition to how the main character interacts with the world and characters around him. He's a comedic one as well. I also love how the different characters feel like they have different personalities, a bit of uniqueness for each person.
I like these types of novels a lot, where the main character transforms into an animal in a world that is supernatural elements that allow one to get stronger. However, a trend I see in these types of novels is that they don't last. After four to five hundred chapters they suddenly stop, resulting in an indefinite hiatus. I hope this one will be different.
Is there a discord or something where we can receive news from the translator or author about the situation, whether it is a vacation, mental health issue, family issue, pregnancy, etc? Actually, there isn't even a need to give information on the issue, maybe just the date on when updates will be resuming.
I find the thought of playing production type support extremely fascinating.
