this story is like work of someone who just knows how to write but after that has no idea how to use logic and reasoning to make plot convincing. he is idiot and its here-there in all novel. Military clearly needs more power to resist against other organizations, original families more successfully. So its not that much of stretch to say that it's not a bad idea to have backing of army. I don't know on which chapter i made this comment(to not spoil things). but his decision was good bcoz of his superpowers, except that i still think having backing of organization in which someday u can control things if u have enough might is best option.
