They are majorly yin and yang release. It can also borderline be considered as a kekkai genkai as Yamanaka's have exceptionally powerful spirit. Plus no one other than their clan members use it. Not even Madara could copy it.
Only those children of clan members can perform their techniques? From what I understand, they are only secret techniques, not Kekkei Genkais, such as the Sharingan of the Uchiha Clan or the Ice of the Yuuki Clan. - RoadtoLife4dCommented
