Not a big fan of the names. Much prefer original names over ones that are obvious references to things like lotr. Will keep reading for now though since this novel is so highly rated, though I hope the naming convention improves.

I guess there is a low chance of the author reading this at this point but: The word «god» is only capitalized in monotheistic religions such as Christianity where it also serves as a name. In polytheistic religions, you do not capitalize it.
