you caught me. not so much a plot hole as a I forgot to elaborate that while younger his dad and him got along, but his dad remarried and his step mom hated haruko. so as time went on and he accomplished nothing in his life his dad grew disappointed in him too.
'I know Keith said I wasn't special, and I didn't do anything to earn a second chance at life, but still, why me? I wasn't incredible in my first life. I was just a loser who accomplished nothing in twenty years aside from wasting it. My parent's looked down on me, my grandparents wanted nothing to do with me. I couldn't keep a job or a girlfriend. The two clones spoke out at once before their bodies densified down into a great shield, and bastard sword. Haruko grabbed both tools of war out of the air, and formed two more hands out of biomass which performed a series of hand signs.
