'Approaching the camp was significantly easier than it should have been considering I had the knowledge of where all the patrols would be, and when. Everything about this smells fishy. It would have taken weeks for a force of this size to approach our borders this close. Not only that they received a hit on the two of us with extremely loose descriptions. Not only that, these guys never bothered to read the bingo book.

They didn't even recognize Kakashi, which is just absurd in the first place. How did they manage to make it this far without being noticed, or wiped out. How did they know that we would be here when we were? All of their patrols received the same mission meaning they knew well in advance that we would be here. They received the mission shortly after we left the village, and that can only mean Danzo right?

So why then is Danzo in communication with the enemy? Danzo is a lot of things, but he wouldn't outright betray the village like this. They clearly are being allowed to be this deep in our land otherwise they would have been wiped out by now. The hokage equivalent for Iwa is that old man right? Onoki? No? Maybe? I can't remember right. There's too many memories swimming through my head right now so the information is all garbled. Regardless, the big question is why?'

As they moved through the vast forest following Haruko's directives, they safely made it to the outskirts of the camp. Most of the genin were out on patrol while a small group sat around a makeshift table created from the ground. They were too far away to hear what they were saying, but luckily they both had a certain eye which allowed them to see very far away, and read lips.

"Lord Onoki needs us to ensure this mission does not fail. You know the importance of this, yes?"

"Yes sir. We will not fail."

"Good Lord Danzo has been kind enough to allow us to exist under the radar. It's thanks to him that we can establish a mine here."

"Why would he though?"

"Why else?" The man with the jonin vest rubbed his fingers together. "Money"

"Huh? That's it?"

"I'm sure he has ulterior motives, but that's for our superiors to work out. We just need to guard the mine entrance, and keep the area safe."

"On another note, why did we receive an assassination contact on an old man, and a child earlier this morning?"

"How should I know? Orders are orders. Now enough slacking off. Gather reports from the genin scouts, and report back."

"Yes sir!"

The second jonin departed out into the wilds, while the one left standing read over a few more reports before entering his tent.

"So how do you wanna handle this?" Haruko asked while sitting back on the tree.

Kakashi looked wary. "Realistically we could probably handle this whole camp with little issues, but it feels like an unnecessary risk."

"Knowing Danzo is allowing a rival village to just exist here in our land seems like enough justification to wipe them out, no?"

"It's a good enough reason, but I don't like the risk. Despite knowing their man power anything could go wrong."

"C'mon Kakashi! Let loose a bit. We have a great training experience right in front of us, and the worst that could happen is we get a little hurt. Between your arsenal of jutsu, and my regeneration there's no way we get killed let alone captured. Besides, they called you old!" Haruko had a mischievous glint, and an evil smirk as he spat out those final words.

Kakashi had a tick mark appear above his brow. "We wipe them out." He said resolutely.

'I'm not falling for his nonsense, but it would be best to take care of this problem now. Even if we were playing right into Danzo's hands.' Kakashi thought to himself while giving Haruko a signal.

Haruko could have played into his role as a ninja, and he had a myriad of skills for that exact purpose, but he was craving an all out brawl, and slaughter. Using an elaborate sign language he signaled to Kakashi to hold back, and pick off stragglers. Haruko descended into the center of the camp, and rapidly formed hand signals while molding his pitch black chakra. Placing both his hands on the ground he shouted.

"PROTO STYLE:INFINITE VIRUS STORM JUTSU!"

The ground shook, and row after row of razor edged blades shot out from the ground, writhing, and thrashing all around. Destruction, and chaos ensued as the few Iwa ninja who weren't caught off guard were forced to defend themselves from blade wielding tentacles which wildly thrashed about. Blood, guts, bile, and a number of other things exploded all over the camp as the tentacles murdered, and injured over 20 different people.

'Been working on this jutsu for 3 years now. Easily an s class jutsu given its versatility, range, and power, and cost. Jeez, over half my chakra just like that.'

Several bodies had been absorbed by the bladed masses, and were then drug back into Haruko from the pool of biomass where his hands met the ground. His chakra reserves were quickly refilled, and a wealth of knowledge filled his mind. His eyes rapidly spun as he began hunting down the injured. A black mass of fog broke out from the commander's tent, and crashed into the side of Haruko.

An evil smirk broke out on Haruko's face as he read the man's kekki genkai. Dark release. A three way between lightning, yin, and wind. It allowed the man to form into a cloud of dark particles, indistinguishable from the dark at night, and perfect for blending into shadows. A small arsenal of defensive, and offensive techniques with a major focus on utility.

His abilities allowed him to move faster than the eye can follow, with the weakness that he can hardly keep track of what he's doing. It allows him to move through shadow with his chakra as a limit to how far he can go. He can create small chakra blades made of condensed darkness, and scatter himself into darkness particles to avoid attacks. So that's how he escaped Haruko's discount horror unlimited blade work.

Haruko was ragdolled across the ground, pitch black armor formed around his body, and a large sword stabbed through the ground halting his flight. Haruko established his balance, and looked the other man in the eye before launching himself into an all out melee. The man's chakra blades sliced off section after section of Haruko's armor. Haruko parried blade after blade evading what he could, but ultimately took more hits than he was comfortable with.

"Proto style: Clone jutsu"

Several Haruko appeared from his back, and the melee turned in his favor as 6 separate Haruko's wielded a myriad of different metallic weapons against the man cloaked in darkness. 2 Two clones were dispatched by the man when he teleported under their shadow, and bisected them through the middle. Haruko began to sweat a bit as the man was proving to be a bit much for him.

"This is a great fight my good man, may I ask your name?" Haruko asked while he took a step back allowing his three remaining clones to battle.

"You don't deserve to know my name!" The man shouted while forming a few hand signs.

"Shadow style: Great divide!" Three claws of shadow ripped through the ground, and tore one of Haruko's clones into bits while the others dodged out of the way.

Haruko met the man in melee once again, using shunshin to match his slippery opponents' attacks.Haruko's blade sung through the air as it bit through the man's flesh only to meet air as the man vanished in a puff of black smoke, before reforming, and kicking Haruko several feet away.

"Protostyle: Clone jutsu!" Two more clones appeared before forming hand signs. "Protostyle: Full body blade/ Full body shield!" The two clones spoke out at once before their bodies densified down into a great shield, and bastard sword. Haruko grabbed both tools of war out of the air, and formed two more hands out of biomass which performed a series of hand signs.

"PROTOSTYLE: DEMONIC APOTHEOSIS!!"

Haruko shouted as the plates forming his body shifted quickly. The two hands he had just formed shifted to his back, and formed two massive metallic spears which stretched out from his back to face forward. His legs broke, and formed for animalistic seeming legs featuring an extra joint facing the wrong way before stretching down into massive clawed feet. His chest swelled, and revealed an extremely muscular armor, while a long segmented razor whip stretched out from his spite forming an ever stretching tail with a barbed edge poised in the air ready to strike. His helmet stretched and formed an armored plate similar to a triceratops horns, and all.

The demonic figure of Haruko crashed into the man, and flung him all about. The man did everything in his power to avoid, or disperse to avoid the attacks, but there were just too many limbs striking out at him from each, and every angle possible. It felt like he was being stabbed, and sliced all over his body.

In all of Hijoshi's life he had never felt this pressured, or felt like his life was in so much danger. Color had begun to drain away from the world leaving only various shades of red.
