I don't know, personally I would reread everything I already know and learnt because chances are high that the comic geniuses advanced the knowledge forward.
It appears that thanks to my high intellect I actually possess a photographic memory, to which I'm all thankful for. While I get what you were probably going for, having your character's first words about Peter being an insult after said character was literally being tortured doesn't make for a very likeable main character. 10:1 the first reaction would be more along the lines of 'leave it to me in exchange for taking over your body.'
