I think it was just a typo…
They already told him …?
I don’t know what the author is planning, but in one piece your willpower isn’t a direct correlation of your strength. You could theoretically be weak and have strong willpower or you could be strong and have weak willpower. So with everything Ace has been through, plus the shocked state of all the saints, especially after seeing something so unbelievable, it’s perfectly plausible for Ace’s haki to be so effective in that moment… Also, if I had to guess, judging by the apparent similarities between Ace’s haki and the sovereign power, I reckon the author is planning to make conqueror’s haki and the portions of will for paragons and sovereigns related in someway…
Plus, the flying slash in one piece is purely an Arian attack, but from the author’s description, Ace’s version required him to use impose to compress the air before slashing…
It’s a common theme within Wuxia and xianxia worlds - the stronger and more stable the space of a world the harder it is to perform techniques that utilize and or destroy the space of that world. I think that was what the author meant when he said how this world was so much stronger than the one piece world. Like before he died whitebeard may have been able to destroy a city with his power in the world of one piece, but if he came to the coiling dragon, the damage he’d cause would be a lot less. Basically, it takes a lot more strength to achieve the same affect in the Coiling Dragon world compared to the world of One Piece…
Lauriella’s the woman with the phoenix bloodline - her husband’s the axe wielding head of the Yin-Yang Pavilion!
I disagree. Ace doesn’t seem like the vengeful type, especially as it wasn’t Linley who tried to have them killed. He spent the whole of his first life struggling with the idea that he as a son had to bear the sins of a parent, I doubt he’d make Linley do the same! Plus, if I had to guess, I bet Ace is at least a little sympathetic as his mum probably also has a tainted soul… I actually like and appreciate what the author did here!
