Here's an example of translators working towards clarity and congruency: [1] Epta’s original name was Qi Ruo -柒若-, which literally translates to Seven If. As an artistic choice to stick with the western naming scheme of characters in this arc, we’ve used the Greek word for number seven as her name [2] Similar to Epta, Scarlet’s original name was Chi Hu -赤鹄-, which literally translate to Crimson Swan. For similar reasons to Epta, her name has been localized as Scarlet This is from World's Apocalypse Online. This demonstrates a quality that should be standard when it comes to translations.

Very accurate... The angel hierarchy is so messed up in this novel, it does make one feel like the author simply used names from the western mythos randomly.

Hello, everyone, Tyrnox back with some objective reviews. The translation quality is pretty average, some translators even check the veracity of the information used in the novel. Let's take the angel's power ranking for example. The words used are very erratic, and changes quite a bit, but the main problem is that the ranking is completely mixed up. The clarity and congruency of the information given is really bad, that brings down translation quality to 3. Stability of Updates is pretty generic, 4 stars. As for story development, one could argue that the author just randomly used names from the western mythos without knowing who they were and what functions they served, which made the story confusing for most. Another argument could be made that the author simply didn't care and googled names to use, instead of doing proper research. Doesn't matter, there's no foreshadowing, and the only thing the novel works with is plot armor and the "cheat system". From this, one could tell that the author is immature / has very little experience in literature as a whole. Two stars. Character design and World Background. For reasons stated above, they both score one star. We couldn't even get proper angel hierarchy. This would have had zero stars but I took it with a grain of salt and gave it 1 star for creativity. Let's just say the Author is creative. 2.2 stars average.

This is a subjective review after reading about 40 chapters. 4/5 for translation. Good flow, but needs a little more clarity. 4/5 for stability. My standards for this is pretty high so only 4. 4/5 story development. The development isn't too slow, but it may slow down in the future. 4/5 character design. So far the characters are built quite well, I hope the author wont get lazy. 3/5 world background. What do we actually even know about the world? Not much actually. Hopefully we get more as the story progresses. Now, I would like to address some things about other reviews claiming that the system brainwashes other people to like the MC, not quite true. They feel a sense of familiarity, and this sense of familiarity is logical, because of the connection between them, they feel as if they are "familiar" with the MC. Think of it as "something" smelling the same scent as the perfume you use so it's familiar to you, making you more favorable to that "something". The more introverted someone is, the more likely they are to feel close to someone familiar, and I assume the effects would be different for everyone. Another thing to note, the way that the novel is translated by the translators require a higher level of comprehension. We're all here for a good read, not a skim. If you find it hard to understand what's being said, go back and find the context, that will make it easier to understand. We have to be understanding with these translations, and have to take things with a grain of salt. No one is perfect, nitpicking the bad instead of appreciating the good is a really stressful way to live. I hope you guys see the brighter side of life instead of wallowing in the darkness. Stay strong fellow Daoists.
