CHAPTER 2

~Next Morning~

'Where is it! It must be here only..Sector-8..There it is.' for wandering around half an hour, Kwan finally found the address Paan gave him. And it shocked him it was not a building that he found, it looked like Ruean Thai.

*ding dong*

"Umm Hii..I'm Kwan. Actually P'Paan the owner of Foi cafe has sent me here. I am in need of some money."

"Paan has sent you? Oh yaa right he called me regarding one of his part-timer. Is that you?" a middle-aged guy opened the door.

"Ya that's me."

"Come in." he said and asked Kwan to follow him.

From outside, it was a shabby looking traditional thai house (Ruean Thai). It was a bamboo house raised on stilts and topped with a steep gabled roof. But as Kwan enters the house, he is guided towards a room passing an open-air walkway comforted with a traditional view of man-made water fountain of bamboo and a very spacious verandah. As Kwan kept on walking, he was awestruck with the interior of that house. By an outer glance, no one could ever imagine the lavish interior of that Ruean Thai.

He then reaches a room where he sees a man sitting on a sofa and was talking over phone with someone.

"Sir! He's the guy Paan was talking about yesterday." the man told his boss.

"So you're the part-timer at Paan's cafe right? Kwan? Am i right?"

"Yes. P' Paan told me you can help me out."

"I would definitely help you out. But first have a seat. Make yourself comfortable. Now tell me exactly what's the matter. Don't worry."

"Actually i'm in an urgent need of money for my academics but i don't have that much savings with me that i can afford it. I got it through scholarship and they were supposed to pay the fee and i'm supposed to give my university admission fee and security deposit but still it's too much for me. So i asked P'Paan for some help and he suggested to see you."

"I see. So this is the matter. Okay i get it. Don't worry. I'll help you." the man says and signals his assistant to bring the money and some paper works.

"Here! Take this and read this paper work as this comes as our policy for any loan, you can read it and then sign. But remember, you have to pay me the debt after your admission is done that too with interest. And don't worry, take your time, no need to hurry. Just remember to pay the debt on an installment of per month."

"Thank you so much P'."

'Thanks to P'Paan that he suggested to come here. I thought that guy would be a thug judging by his looks, but he genuinely was a kind person. He gave me the loan without any problem. I can now pay my fee and the security deposit too. Then i'll work overtime at the cafe and will pay off the debt.' Kwan left the place thinking to himself.

~almost 3 months later~

" Hey Kwan! You're already leaving so early ! Where you going?" Drake asked Kwan as he was leaving after their classes.

Kwan got admission in his dream university and after that everything was running smoothly till now. Kwan used to go to his classes and after that, he used to leave for his part-time job.

"Cafe ! Obviously! Classes are over. See you tomorrow! Bye."

~at the cafe~

'Seems like my good days are finally coming! And also the financial problem is solved for now. And also the financial problem is solved for now. I just have to do a little bit of overtime and i'll be able to pay off the debt soon. That too with an interest! Perfect!'
