Meeting X Job

It's been 1 month already since Zoro became a bounty hunter and he has already made a good reputation in the region, in this month Zoro took countless job from the underworld market, normally these markets were exclusive to Hunter but you can get work from there if you have access to Nen. He fighted some Nen user too and gained experience in Nen battles. After this month of work Zoro has gained 12 million Jenny but today he decided to take one of the biggest job present a bounty of 30 millions Jenny.

Zoro pulled his phone and called his contact in the underworld market to take the job.

"I am gonna take the 30 millions bounty, send me the picture and any information" Said Zoro

"Your target is with another bounty with equal value, you will have to join the other striker." Responded the contact

"Huh ?! Don't joke with me, you know I work solo." Said Zoro in annoyance.

"Sorry but you have no choice if you want to take the job, you will have to work with your partner but I can tell you for sure that she is a professional" said the contact

"If you say so..." Said Zoro with a little of annoyance

"I will send you the meeting place. Good luck." Said the contact

After 1 hour of walking Zoro finnaly found the place turn out that it was just 5 minute of his start position, so he was extremely angry that contact always misguide him, it was his fault that he got lost and next time he see him he will cut him.

As Zoro made his way toward the restaurant in front of him, he found his partner for his job, it was a short woman with petite build. She has pink, messy, mid-back hair that is usually tied updo, and blue eyes. She is wearing a modern kunoichi like outfit. As for how did Zoro knew that it was his partner ? It was because she was the only Nen user of the restaurant.

Zoro made his way toward her and sat down in her table, she didn't even look at him she just said

"You are late." Said the girl with annoyance

"I was lost." Responded Zoro with the same annoyance

At the reply a tic mark appared on the girl, how you can get lost it was a know place ! She finnaly decided to take a look at the man at her side.

Zoro decided to wear casual clothes as they would surely do some tailing today so he is wearing his white shirt with three buttons undone and keep his bandana tied around his biceps like the old time.

"Green hair, three swords and an scar on the eye, how do you want to tail them with your appearance ?" Said the girl

"You think you are better with your pink hair ?" Responded Zoro with his anger growing

The girl and Zoro kept staring at each other, the tension was heavy and the all the others customers on the restaurant felt a cold sweat in their back.

Finaly the tension vashined.

"My name is Zoro, what is yours ?" Asked Zoro

"Machi." Responded Machi calmely.

"So do you have any informations about our targets ?" asked Zoro as he drink a bottle of booze.

"Marcel Sidoty, 32 years old, wanted for massive murder, know to be an enhancer. Thats your target."

"Raymond Yolaz, 29 years old, wanted for killing some important mafia member, know to be an Emitter. Thats my target." Said Machi with a face of indifference

Zoro narrowed his eye, it seem this girl has done a lot of killing and became indifferent to it. He should keep his guard around her.

They acted naturally and after 20 minute the targets were on sights, they were on Zetsu state for a long time so the targets didn't sense that they were tailed.

After 25 minute of tailing the targets were in a desert area.

"Come out !" Yelled Marcel

Zoro and Machi came out and made their way toward their targets.

"You two are really dumb to think we could'nt notice you." Said Raymond with an arrogant smirk.

Machi didn't even spare them a reply, for her they were already dead she prepared herself to dash toward her target but Zoro stopped her.

"Oi let me take care of these two." Said Zoro with a maniac grin.

Machi didn't refuse, she was also curious about him, the other time when they had a conflict she felt his huge aura, it was really prodigious and she think that even Uvogin has not a pool of aura this large. So she wanted to see what he can do.

"HAHAHAHA !!!" Laughed Marcel and Raymond

"Hah ?! Are you idiot ? You can't even tail us correctly and you want to fight us in a two vs one ?" Said Marcel while laughing like an idiot

Zoro kept his maniac grin and advanced slowly, he untied his bandana and tied it around his head...

And he unleashed his Ren.

THUD !!

The earth trembled, the building around cracked, the pression was immense !

The three spectator were shocked and immobilized.

Marcel and Raymon already stopped their laugh and their eyes were wide open

"I-I-Imposible that's not possible... this aura is way too strong !" Said Raymond with a fearful face, he lost all his will to fight.

"You ! Who are you !" Said Marcel also with fear.

"Me ? My name is Roronoa Zoro, the one who would become the strongest existence down here." Said Zoro with a smirk as he unleashed his bloodlust on the two.

He took out two of his swords, and took his position.

"Nitoryu Iai..." Zoro said quietly with a deadly voice that seem to came from hell.

Marcel and Raymond wanted to flee on sight, this guy is out of their league but they felt themselves immobile when his killer intent attained them, they saw their life passed in front of their eyes. They wanted to beg for mercy but they can't even move their lips to talk, they were condamned.

Zoro suddenly vanished and reapared behind them in a flash.

"Rashomon."

Marcel and Raymond were cut in half and their blood splashed everywere.

"If you were a little less arrogant, you would know that if someone make himself visible to you it's because he has nothing to fear." Said Zoro to the two dead man

Zoro's attack didn't stop here, it continued and slashed two abandonned building in half.

Meanwhile Machi who has seen the whole fight was dumbstruck...

"This guy... his Ren is more powerful than Uvo's one and his speed is at least on par with Feitan... and this last attack... there wasn't any Nen in this attack it was just pure strength and sword technique and he completely cut throught the building like it was tofu." Machi was completely awed in front of such swords technique and she is sure that it wasn't even his best... Just the fact of someone with Uvogin physical strength, Feitan's speed and such a magnificient sword play, she knew that this guy is very strong.

"I need to inform the leader about that." Though Machi still deeply impressed by Zoro's power

Zoro came back toward Machi with a bag with the two heads of the targets.

Seeing Zoro with his bandana coming toward her stirred something inside Machi's heart that was foreign to her but she quickly push it aside.

"Good job." She said without any emotion

"Here's yours." He said ready to give her target's head but she refused it.

"You can keep this one, you killed it after all." She said

"Ok then." Zoro didn't even argue with her and accepted right away.

"Hey do you want to team up with me ?" Machi didn't know why she said this, this wasn't her style at all.

"I work solo, sorry." Responded Zoro

Machi was annoyed that he rejected her but didn't gave up and elaborated her offer.

"We should work toghether, I have a lot of contact with better job, the reward are much better and the targets are stronger it will help you." Machi said with hope that he will accept.

Zoro was thinking about this offer and felt that this was a good deal, he would have better opponent and better reward, the Exam was near too so it will not be that long.

"Ok, I agree let's team up." Said Zoro

Machi let out a tiny smile, good he accepted, she didn't know why she wanted to be with him but her intuition told her that this man would become important to her and her intuitions were often right.

"Maybe I can convince the chief to enroll him in the troupe" she thought with a smile.

Time before the 287th Hunter Exam : 1 month.
