Holiday!

Candy wasn't able to sleep all night. She kept on thinking about the events that took place during the day. Her phone suddenly vibrated. She already had an idea who texted. She hesitated to confirm who the message was from. She was contemplating on pretending to be asleep and ignore the message or respond to the message. She finally decided on the later. Daniel: "Hey babe. I know you are not sleeping. You won't be able to sleep with what you did this evening. Anyways you will need to get over it sooner than later. I want to talk to you regarding your internship. I have found a company for you. You don't need to deposit any letter. I have done all that for you. You just need to report to the company on Monday morning. I will send the car to come pick you up every day. I won't be able to do that since I will be out of town. Don't worry about my internship. I already validated the course in my previous school so I don't need to do it again but I'll be there towards the end of your internship program." Candy: "you're now acting the role of my dad in my life. Thank you babe. I really appreciate your efforts. I will make sure to be in the company on time. Where will you be going to? Does it mean I won't be able to see you for two months? Why didn't you tell me earlier?" at this point Candy was already so emotional. Daniel joked: "Ohh you would have kissed me longer?" Candy: "I'm serious you know." Daniel: "I didn't want to spoil your day. We planned on having lots of fun today and I wasn't going to trade that for anything." He added: "You wouldn't want to be with me on normal days. What happened? Suddenly missing me? Missing my kisses?" Candy smugly replied: "Yes I am missing your kisses so what? Not like you'll come and meet me to kiss me. Good night babe. I love you. Kisses" Daniel laughed and replied "yeah, yeah. You win. Hope you will be able to tell me these when we meet again." Candy: "I sure will. Sleep tight. Dream of us kissing" Daniel: "Ok baby I will I love you. Good night." They both went to bed but Candy wasn't aware it was still Friday and Daniel didn't specify when he was going to travel. She went to bed thinking she won't see Daniel anytime soon but it was just her wishful thinking.

Candy woke up the next day feeling fresh and in Great Spirit. She cleaned her room, washed clothes, cooked and freshened up. Sitting in the parlor watching TV, she heard the sound of a car. Her heart stops beating for a moment. Her first reaction was to run but unfortunately she was caught in the act. Mom: "Jane where are you running to? Who is supposed to entertain your guest for you?" Candy sheepishly answered: "I wasn't running mom just wanted to go check up on something but its fine." She turned and faced Daniel then said: "Welcome to my house. Please sit. What would you like to drink?" Daniel: "I already took permission from your mom to take you out." Candy turned an angry face to her mom. She just ignored her daughter and left the sitting room. Candy sat down in frustration. Daniel stood up and sat closer to Candy. Daniel: "By the way I love what you are putting on." It was at that moment Candy realized she was actually putting on something that exposed her legs. She was about to run to the room when Daniel caught her. Daniel: "No rush babe. Aren't you excited to see me? You sounded pretty upset last night when I said I will be travelling but now it seems you don't want to see me. You even missed my kisses." At this point Candy's face was already hot: "Stop saying rubbish. My mom is still at home. You wanted to take me out right? I'll go change so we can leave." She immediately flees. After changing into a comfortable dress they both bade goodbye to her mom and left. Candy: "Where are we off to?" Daniel: "A place where it will be just the both of us. My house" Candy: "It's the weekend. Won't your mom and sister be at home? I remember you telling me they spend the weekend at your house." Daniel: "I already took care of that. They should be gone by the time we get there. I told them I have some unfinished business to take care of so I wouldn't want to be disturbed today." Candy: "Am I an unfinished business?" Daniel: "That's the only excuse I could come up with. I would have told them I want to spend some time with girlfriend, they would have waited for me to come backs o they could see the girlfriend. Not like I don't want to introduce you to them. Just that they won't let you rest with questions. Anyways you will get to see them but not now when I want to spend some time with you." Candy: "Ok" they arrived at Daniel's place knowing they were all alone but just some few seconds after sitting on the couch, they heard a voice. "Won't you introduce your guest to me?" said Daniel's mom, Juliette. Daniel turned and asked: "Mom, Jane what re you guys still doing here? We agreed on you leaving the house before I come back." Juliette: "We were waiting for you to come back before we leave but we didn't expect you to come back with a lady. Our baby boy is finally growing up. I am still waiting for an introduction." Daniel helplessly sighs then replies: "Mom, Jane. Meet my girlfriend Candy. Candy my mom, Juliette and junior sister, Jane. Can you guys now leave?" Jane: "Wait, i think I know you girlfriend from somewhere. She is the lady who helped me with my grocery bags some time ago. Yes she's the one. Wow I finally met you again. Can I get your phone number? So we could keep in touch. Never mind. I will collect it from my elder brother. See you. Bye" Daniel: "Don't forget to close the door on your way out." After they left? Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and said to Candy: "I told you." Candy just smiled but said nothing. They both sat back down. Daniel already had everything planned out. The first the activity was to have a good time at the pool. He took Candy to his room to go change and put on a pool wear he had already prepared in advance. They both went down to the pool. Candy: "When did you plan all of these?" she jokingly added: "hope you are not planning on proposing." Daniel seriously said: "If you want me to then I will." Candy: "calm down, calm down. I was just joking." They both entered the pool and were having a good time. They played volley ball and also did a swimming race which Daniel came out first in all the rounds. Candy got angry and said she won't play again Candy pouts her mouth and coquettishly says: "This is not fair. You win me in all the matches. You are not considerate towards your girlfriend. I don't want to play with you again." Daniel: "My baby is angry at me." Candy: "I'm serious. I don't want to play with you again." Daniel: "Who do you want to play with if not me. I won't win again baby, let's continue our game." Candy: "why should you let me win? I won't feel victorious. Never mind" Daniel: "We could continue what you started yesterday in the car. What do you think?" before Candy could comprehend Daniel's word, she was kissed. She wasn't responding to his kiss so he bit her lip and said: "" First of all close your eyes and then focus on what we are doing then he continued. He later on let go of her lips when she was running out of breathe. "Next time don't forget to breathe. "I don't want to catch a cold." She said so while leaving the pool. She picked a towel, dried herself and went to change into warmer clothes. Daniel didn't immediately follow her to the house. He was aroused by Candy so he had to stay in the pool for a while to cool-off. He didn't want to scare Candy. After a while he left the pool, went and changed then joined Candy in the living room. Candy: "I'm starving. Don't tell me you didn't prepare anything for us to eat." Daniel: "Of course I did. It's in the kitchen." Candy went and served the food then called for Daniel to come eat. They were having a great time and Candy wasn't that reserved while with Daniel. In fact she is now used to Daniel by her side. After eating, they both went to the parlor to watch movies. They were both cuddled up on the couch watching and eating snacks. It began raining heavily at noon so Candy Fell asleep before the movie could come to an end. Daniel carried her to the room, laid her on the bed the covered her with a quilt While She was resting, he was seated beside her with his laptop trying to sort out some last minute work. After about two hours, candy finally woke up and noticed she wasn't in the parlor watching movies but on the bed. "When did I fall asleep?"

"About two hours ago."

"What about you? You just sat there the whole time watching me sleep?"

Daniel Put down his laptop lay on the bed, took her into his arms and whispered into her ear "I love staring at your beautiful face." Candy who was now shy said nothing. They both sat quiet and enjoyed each other's embrace. After a while Candy: "When are you leaving?" Daniel: "Tomorrow Afternoon"

"Where exactly are you going to?"

"I'll be going to country A for a business trip."

"And you spoke about it as if you were just travelling to a neighboring town. Do you go there often? To some of us going to such country is a luxury. We just keep dreaming about it."

"Yeah I guess but it's strictly business. There are some aspects of my life you will slowly discover."

"Why don't you just tell me now?"

"Now is not the right time."

"Ok if you say so. I'll wait till it's the right time. I won't miss you though."

Daniel leaned closer to her face and asked while staring at her lip: "Are you sure you won't miss me?"

"I won't m…" before she could finish her statement, her lips were sealed by Daniel's. After a while he let her go and asked again: "Will you miss me?" Candy repeatedly nodded her head while saying: "I will, I will."

Daniel smiled and replied: "Now that's my baby." He kissed her lightly and rubbed her hair.

Candy: "You are bullying me. I want to go to my house." Daniel laughed and said: "How can I bully my baby? How did I bully you? Can you please tell me?" Candy immediately became shy. She burrowed her face into Daniel's chest and pretended to be asleep.

Daniel: "Baby… baby… baby…" but she didn't respond so he Chuckled and added. "Ok let's go to bed. He kissed her forehead and closed his eyes." Candy woke up at around 9pm and found out that she actually fell asleep while pretending to be asleep. She also noticed she was in Daniel's embrace so she blushed but noticing Daniel wasn't awake to tease her, she came back to normal. She glanced at Daniel's perfect features and was kind of jealous. She involuntarily sent her hand to feel his face starting from his eyebrow, his eyes, his jaws and landed on his lips. Daniel spoke with his eyes closed: "Do you want to taste it?" candy immediately retracted her hand from his lips and got down from the bed

"It's already late can you go drop me off now?"

"I just asked a simple question. Why are you so worked up? Anyways the rain has subsided. Get dressed and we will be on our way." Candy quickly walked in to the bathroom, cleaned herself up then went to the walk-in closet to change her clothes. After that, they both left for candy's house. On their way, Candy sadly said: "So I'm really not going to see you for two months."

Daniel: "It will be over before you know it. Besides we will be talking on phone."

Candy: "I know but seeing you personally is different from video calls and text messages."

Daniel: "my baby has finally accepted that she will miss me." Arriving at Candy's home, she summed up courage and kissed Daniel on his lips for about ten seconds then dashed out of the car living Daniel with just a goodbye. Daniel smiled to himself then went back to his house.
