The divine eyes technique was simply frightening, no wonder Nicolas's grandfather had made so many arrangements to disguise that book as a fantasy story. its effects were simply frightening, even Nicolas without the system would not have been able to identify that book as a technique.

This was a technique that required a lot of mental and physical energy and as the main objective of the technique was that its effects could be used passively, the second step was essential.

In the third stage the practitioner would finally train the last sense "The look", this was the final stage in addition to being the most difficult and frightening of the entire technique, because by mastering the third stage the practitioner would be fully mastering the technique and thus receiving a wide range of abilities through it.

Some of these abilities were: Night Vision, Thermal Vision, Extended Vision, X-Ray Vision and finally Mana Vision. As stated before, some techniques were so powerful that they could be used regardless of the practitioner's ability and this seemed to be one of them. It was a technique that once practiced would have the effect of several independent skills and that was extremely frightening for a single skill. How did your grandfather get something so valuable?

Obviously those men were slaves, or rather, they were the ones who would be executed in the Guillotine Palace in a few days. The torture they suffered was, in fact, intense mining work that lasted from the period they were captured until the period they were executed.

The advantage and problem of the humans was that they were in their essence very hopeful even in the face of imminent death, for some reason they still continued to mine in the hope that by a miracle they could be freed from that fate. As soon as that glow disappeared, a green statue fell from the cave walls attracting the attention of everyone there, this statue had four arms, red eyes and was so rich in detail that it actually looked like a miniature monster. The expression on the statue's face was of grief as if it were suffering, when this statue fell a man ran to pick it up.

"Wait...!" The young redhead ran to stop him, but it was too late.

As soon as the man's fingers touched the statue, like a living being, the statue's previously sad smile suddenly turned into an evil grin that displayed a row of sharp teeth.

With this series of events the man came out of himself and like a madman grabbed the statue and ran through the tunnels, disappearing from view. The young redhead did not follow him but he knew very well what the man's fate would be.

A few minutes later, that man didn't seem to show any signs of stopping, however, the air around him suddenly rippled as Brutus appeared beside him with a cold face.

"Trying to steal my treasure? What a filthy human!" With a casual wave of his hands, Brutus severed the man's head.

As he picked up the statue, a strange glow crossed Brutus' eyes before he disappeared from where he was standing.

Nicolas did not fail to cultivate this technique at any time, even without sleep he still felt very energetic and strong, this was one of the benefits that a fusion core provided to its user. Those were the main principles of Shadow Step. As Nicolas ran, his steps became faster and more stealthy, to ordinary eyes he was like a figure moving at high speed, as he received a deeper understanding of the technique Nicolas felt naturally happy.
