Chapter 92: June

Months have passed, and it's now June 2018. It's a dark night, and Mute can be seen shopping. Mute was staring at shirts with a bored look on his face. Over the months, Mute's physical appearance has changed only slightly. Mute grew slightly taller, growing to 6'1. 

Mute picked out a shirt and started to look at the brand on the shirt before he snapped his head up sensing something. The ground under his feet started to tremble, as the few people in the store with Mute dropped to their knees panicking before a young woman screamed out.

"It's an earthquake get down! "

Mute ignored the woman knowing that it wasn't an earthquake instead he started to walk towards the exit of the building. Mute walked out of the store with the people in the shop staring at him confused. Mute stopped walking in the middle of the street before looking up at a school. 

Mute watched as the school's walls started to tremble before one of the sides of the school was completely destroyed. A massive dust cloud formed on the side of the school wall as two students flew out of the dust cloud getting chased after by a massive curse. 

The students land on a lower roof before they dash toward the curse leaping around its body and throwing attacks at it.

The curse let out a roar of pain before it suddenly grabbed onto a student lifting him up into the air. Mute stared at the curse holding the student until his eyes widened sensing a new powerful potent energy...

On the rooftop maniacal laughter could be heard followed by the sound of a shirt ripping. Megumi stared at Itadori with tattoos covering his body before he let out a wild grin and spoke in a deranged tone of voice. 

" Where are the people? Where are the women? "

Megumi stares at Sukuna with his legs shaking. Sweat pours down Megumi's face until he takes a deep breath and brings his hands together. Before Megumi could channel his curse energy, Sukuna suddenly grabbed onto his own neck shocking Megumi and Sukuna. 

" Hey, get out of my body. "

Says Itadori. Sukuna's eyes widen as he tries to process what's happening. Megumi watches this in shock until Itadori glances over at Megumi. Megumi seeing this tightens his fists and starts to channel cursed energy into his hands.

The air begins to crackle as Megumi takes a deep breath Itadori stares at Megumi confused until Megumi senses someone standing next to him and glances back. Seeing Gojo standing directly behind him. Megumi stares at Gojo seeing him holding onto a paper bag.

" Gojo-sensei what are you doing here? "

Gojo glances at Megumi before smirking and speaking. 

" I wasn't planning on coming but the higher-ups would give me hell if a special grade cursed object went missing. So I went sightseeing, but did you find it? "

Before Megumi could answer Gojo, Itadori spoke. 

" I-I kinda, of ate it. "

Gojo snapped his head over at Itadori before his body flickered and appeared directly in front of Itadori. Gojo stared at Itadori before he smirked and spoke.

" He really did combine with you, that's funny as hell. "

Gojo was about to walk away from Itadori until his eyes widened when he looked over Itadori's head. Gojo stared at a figure sitting on the edge of the higher rooftop. Mute's feet dangled off the edge as he and Gojo locked eyes before Mute smirked and spoke. 

"It's about time you realized I was here. But do you mind explaining to me what's happening here? I wasn't paying attention to your conversation with that brat over there. "

Mute and Gojo glare at each other. The deranged smile on Mute's face grows wider before abruptly Itadori speaks. 

" I kind of ate a finger and someone is trying to take control of my body. "

Gojo scoffs before he lets out a loud yawn and speaks to Mute thoroughly explaining the situation to Mute. 

" This kid over here ate a cursed object that contained Ryomen Sukuna. However, instead of Sukuna taking full control of his body for some reason. He can contain him. "

Mute nodded at Gojo before glancing at Itadori. Mute glared at Itadori until something came to his mind and he spoke to Sukuna asking him a question. 

" Hey Sukuna, do you know of a king named Mō Fubuki "

Itadori looks up at Mute confused until suddenly a mouth appears on the side of Itadori's neck speaking to Mute. 

" How do you know that weak icey bastard? "

Mute looked at Sukuna confused before he spoke.

" He told me that the battle between you two lasted hours? Of course, before he lost to me. "

Sukuna let out a chuckle of disgust before he spoke. 

" That's the rumor he told others? The battle barely lasted ten minutes. He might have made a vow with nature but that was all he had. His strength was nothing but false myths. "

As the conversation between Sukuna and Mute continued, Gojo and Megumi stared at them with confused looks on their faces. They had no clue who this Mō Fubuki was. Megumi continued to stare at Mute until his brain clicked and he finally figured out who he was.

Mute's appearance was still wildly unknown after all, the majority of people who have seen his face are dead. The only ones alive who have seen his face are first and special grades. Megumi only figured out who Mute was because he remembered meeting him in the alleyway all those years ago. 

Megumi's fingers started to twitch until he watched as Mute abruptly snapped his head to the left with a bewildered look on his face. Mute looked through a plethora of trees until he looked back at Gojo and spoke.

" Did you actually kill Geto? "

Gojo looked at Mute confused before he spoke. 

"I did. Are you mad that I killed him? "

Mute just shook his head, before glancing back at the dense forest. Mute could have sworn to himself that he had just seen Geto...
