Chapter 61: Awe
The sudden abrupt powerful energy of the vengeful spirit Null shocks everyone around. Nanami is about to throw a kick at Mute before he stops sensing the powerful cursed energy. Mute doesn't counter attack instead looking over toward his sister.
Mute and the other first-grade sorcerers are standing on a roof with their heads toward the powerful energy, at the source of the powerful energy. A ten-foot-tall monster could be seen. It's burly with pale white bumpy skin, and two long canines hang out from the side of its mouth. The monster starts to stomp towards Gojo, before towering over him. Gojo smirks before cockily talking.
" You should go back to your- "
Before Gojo finishes his sentence the monster throws a powerful punch that slams into his infinity, Gojo smirks before his eyes widen watching his infinity starting to bend rapidly, Gojo's infinity warps out of control before the punch sails through the infinity slamming into his nose, making Gojo launch through the air.
Gojo flips in the air before gently landing on the ground. A small drinkle of blood starts to leak down Gojo's nose before he wipes it off with his thumb. Gojo stares at the beast confused. Gojo stares at the unusual energy circulating through the monster's body. Gojo finds it familiar yet devoid. Gojo stares at it for a little longer before his brain clicks. The energy circulating through the monster's body is the exact same as the Inverted Spear of Heaven.
" How the hell did you manage this, Null? "
Says Gojo grinning. He starts to point his index finger in the sky as red energy twirls around his body before a red ball forms above his index finger. Gojo fires the red ball toward the monster before it stares at the ball before dashing towards it, slicing it in half using its hand.
Gojo grins wildly before dashing out of the way of a kick. Null's maximum technique is more of a vow than a technique. By sacrificing her body, Null gains the ability to kill the threat she used it on. However, after she finishes her instructions, her body will crumble away.
Gojo sways his body moving left and right gracefully dodging the beast's rigid punches. Gojo leaps over a kick before spinning and slamming his heel into the monster's jaw. Its face contorted from the powerful kick before it rapidly healed.
Gojo grins wildly seeing how fast the monster's healing is, before he dashes forward throwing a kick. The kick sails toward the monster before the monster's right hand flickers catching the kick. The beast starts to pull Gojo around, trying to slam him on the ground before a bright red light appears, and his hand is destroyed.
The beast grunts annoyed before healing its hand and trying to grab Gojo. The beast misses as Gojo swiftly ducks under his arm before twirling, slamming a powerful kick into the back of its knee, causing it to stumble forward.
The monster jerks its body around and locks eyes with Gojo. The monster tightly balls up its massive bumpy fists before it enters into a fighting stance. Gojo looks at the fighting stance before scoffing and lunging forward. The beast sees Gojo sprinting and quickly throws a punch.
Gojo comes to a sliding stop and throws a punch as well. Both of their punches slam into each other causing a shockwave to ripple out. Gojo grins wildly as he and the monster exchange punches, their fists clashing repeatedly until the beast throws a kick that slams into Gojo's side. Gojo's body is pushed back, his feet sliding across the ground as Gojo has his palm pointed behind him. A blue aura appears behind Gojo before in a single motion, he throws the attack toward the beast, slamming the attack into its stomach, launching the monster off its feet.
The monster crashes onto the ground before coming to a rolling stop before pushing off the ground, standing back up, revealing a massive hole in its stomach. The beast glances down before the hole heals. Veins start to pop out of the monster as it grows furious before it wildly stomps towards Gojo throwing a barrage of sloppy punches that slam into the ground as Gojo easily evades them.
Gojo dashes back dodging another punch before he springs forward and runs up the monster's burly white arm before kicking it directly in the chin. The beast stumbles back before Gojo attacks again throwing another punch into its stomach, making it drop to its knees.
The monster cries out in agony before Gojo dashes back, holding his hand forward. It stares at Gojo worried as purple energy starts to cover Gojo's hand. Gojo grins while he is about to flick his middle finger.
"Let's see how you can handle this, Null. "
Says Gojo as he flicks his middle finger, shooting a hollow purple towards the beast. The hollow purple rips through the ground before slamming into the monster, carrying it through the sky as it rips through the ground and buildings.
A valley is created before the hollow purple explodes. Gojo stares through the valley with a grin on his face. At the point of the explosion, nothing but a massive crater remained...
Even with Null's vow, the vengeful spirit was still quickly defeated by Gojo...
Back on the roof, Mute could be seen staring at the fight in awe before a hollow purple destroyed Null completely. Seeing the fight ending, the first-grade sorcerers quickly looked back at Mute before they started to hear him chuckle. Under Mute's mask, a massive evil grin could be seen on his face.
The first-grade sorcerers stared at Mute confused. They believed Mute couldn't talk, yet here he was chuckling to himself. Mute looked at the massive crater before murmuring something.
" Finally, she is gone "...
