Ren Tao, Leader Of The Ren Clan

The Ren Mansion was an exotic one. No different from their leader, Ren Tao. Ren Tao was someone over the age of 1.5 million years, but he still looked young. Most of the elderly people would accept looking old, but no matter how old Ren Tao got, he always wanted to look as young as a young maiden.

To be more exact, he was childish and behaved like a lolita. However, his childishness was opposite to his true personality and powers. When he was at work, he would be as cold as Antarctica and his powers were even stronger than Old Man Geng.

Old Man Geng was the most powerful in the Wei Bloodline, but Ren Tao was the most powerful second to Xiao Qiang. He would be third, but nobody knew how powerful Xia Lin was as nobody ever saw her using her powers.

Xiao Qiang never allowed her to use her powers in public. Even when she was in danger or trouble, the person using his powers was Xiao Qiang.

Reaching at the doorstep of the Ren Mansion, the guards stopped Xia Lin and Xiao Qiang. "Grand-Master Ren will not be seeing anybody!"

"Please tell Grand-Master Ren that his daughter-in-law has come to visit." She lifted her veil to show her face as proof. The guard then immediately apologized. "This lowly guard apologizes for not noticing Madam!"

"No problem. You didn't know." The guard looked to her side at Xiao Qiang wondering who it was. "He's my friend who helped me. He can come in."

"Then, please. Grand-Master Ren has been worried about your safety Madam. Ever since Madam went missing, Grand-Master Ren has been searching nonstop." Saying that sentence, he opened the gates for Xiao Qiang and Xia Lin.

After they entered, she looked at the place in reminisce. The mansion did not look different at all. The swing below the white blooming tree was still there and the pond full of lilies was with the same color that she loved.

She closed her eyes and pulled the thoughts back to her head. She was here for business, not to look at old times together. Xiao Qiang held her hand tightly, and they both walked to where Ren Tao was.

When they were in front of his study, they knocked once before opening the door. With a grumble, Ren Tao addressed, "Which idiot chose to open my door now?"

"Your daughter." Her words shocked Ren Tao and he looked up to see her smiling face. "Did you miss me? How about your adopted son?"

"You thoughtless daughter! Did you not even think about visiting this old man once?"

"Am I not visiting you now?" She chuckled at his question before putting on a serious face and in a serious tone she said, "Ren Tao, once I reveal his face, you must not attack him without listening to my or his words."

"Why?"

"Don't ask. Just look and listen." After saying those words, she told Xiao Qiang to remove his mask and started telling the story of what Ren Tao needed to know. Ren Tao also did as she said and did not beat up Xiao Qiang after seeing his face.

When the story came to an end, Ren Tao was so shocked his face was equal to a duck. "You see now, why I didn't tell you anything."

"So the Demon King now is Wei Kang?"

"Yes."

"That bastard! I'll go kill him now for such imposturous act!"

"Ren Tao, don't! I've created a plan to have him tortured. If you kill him now, you will be facing the Wei Bloodline's might."

"They don't even care for him anymore."

"They don't, but as the leaders, they must enforce laws."

"What is you plan?" She slowly told Ren Tao about the plans that she had made.

After a long discussion, Ren Tao asked her about what she would need help with. She told hi about how it would be a great if he could just gather up the other clans. She and Xiao Qiang would also help with gathering up the clans.

With the most biggest clan now backing them up, they went ahead and started going even deeper into their plans. Xiao Qiang would go with Ren Tao to go visit the other clans in order to round them up, while Xia Lin was responsible for stopping the attacks that Wei Kang planned.

Xia Lin would be running around nonstop as she was not only going to spy to see where the next target was, but to save them and she had to travel back to Bi'an Treasury Goods to send her designs to Gong Hu.

She could just tell Xiao Qiang to be the one doing the killing, but he never let her do any dangerous job, so she had kept this a secret and only let Ren Tao know. Xiao Qiang would only know when she was already half done with her job.

Half done was enough adventure for her, so she was fine with getting it stolen by Xiao Qiang halfway. Her first target was the rioting clans. Each of the clans were powerful themself, but knowing that she was really close to the Tao Clan, she knew they were above the others.

Wei Kang was a smart man that knew which place to attack first, so she knew that he would be heading for the Tao Clan first. The Tao Clan respected her as queen because not only did she play her motherly role really well, she was someone that everyone can look up to.

Her talents were topnotch that it inspired many others to want to be as skilled as her. She made other women want to be like her. Someone that was independent, yet able to keep their husband by their side.

It would sound funny knowing that many wives looked up to her, but because Xiao Qiang never got another wife every woman admired her. If a married woman saw her, they would ask how she was able to keep her man.

Xiao Qiang never got a concubine and he showered her with love that got people jealous of her. However, this caused other women from eyeing Xiao Qiang and kept men away from her, which was a good thing.

She never asked for him to show PDA, but he always did out of jealousy. Once, she told him about how it was embarrassing, but he started doing it even more, so she stopped and although people didn't show jealousy anymore, they asked her lots of questions.

The men asked Xiao Qiang how to satisfy their woman and the women asked how to satisfy their man. This got annoying, but this caused the Tao Clan to look up to her because the leader was a female with a husband.

Going back to the main topic, she was getting rid of the assassins that were coming after the Tao Clan tonight. She chose to take action quick because Wei Kang was killing off many people very quick.

It was quite scary to see how that bastard can kill without blinking an eye. He is a true demon. Not a king, but demon.
