Chapter 52: Akitsushima, a Possible Ally?

After a lot of diplomatic conversation between Ferdinand and George MacGyver, with Tanya next to Ferdinand, always with a fake smile on her face, trying to look as cute as possible to fool the idiot, the two went to the Dacian Embassy in Laviton.
The Dacian Embassy, like any other, was heavily guarded by Dacian Soldiers and some Legionnaires, with the Dacian Ambassador, Mihai Albescu, giving the best possible welcome to Ferdinand and Tanya, with both deciding to stay at the Embassy as it was safer than a Hotel, which Ferdinand could not be 100% sure of even the cleaners were not Agents of the Murican Government.
"How long do you want to stay here before we continue our other trips around the World?" Tanya asked as she was eating some sweets alongside a mug of coffee.
"2 Weeks, I want to enjoy Laviton before we continue our trip through the Murican Continent and then to the Dragon Continent" Ferdinand replies Tanya as he was reading some newspapers that he had asked Ambassador Mihai for.
"Okay, we're lucky that Akitsushima Dominiom speaks Japanese, so I can help as a translator" Tanya says as she finishes drinking her coffee, with Ferdinand nodding his head upon hearing what she said.
"Yes, but I've already started learning Japanese so I don't have any problems, I need to keep an eye out for future allies" Said Ferdinand as he tried to take a sweet from the plate he had on the table, but received a slap on the hand, making him retreat while Tanya had a face that said "Don't you dare".
"Okay okay....." Ferdinand raises his hands in surrender, laughing a little at the end.
"Leaving aside about you trying to steal my candy, I'd like to know, are you by any chance thinking about creating an Axis Romanian Version and allying yourself with the Akitsushima Dominion?" Tanya asks with a serious face as she looks at Ferdinand.
"If possible, yes, the Empire has its reasons for being a Military and MAINLY Industrial Power, the colonies they have, seriously, this Alternative Earth is basically if everything worked out for the German Empire" Ferdinand responds, with him not stopping to complain about the colonial situation that the Empire found itself in, with it sighing at the end.
The Empire is basically the wet Colonial Dream of the German Empire, having everything from the much dreamed of Mittelafrika, to having in the Pacific what should be the Dutch East Indies, in addition to the original colonies of the German Empire in Asia, which in this world is called Dragon Continent.
With so many resources, both from the territories in Evropa and the Southern Continent and Dragon Continent, it is no wonder that everyone fears the power of the Empire, if they win the First World War that will take place against the Republic, Legadonia and then the War against the Russy Federation, this will mean that the Empire will truly be the masters of the World.
"If we have the Akitsushima Dominion on the Imperium's side, when we have a war against the Empire, they will have to shift their focus to the Dragon Continent as well, besides, I want the Akitsushima's help against the Russy Federation... I will probably have to give in the territories in the Far East, but it will be worth it" Ferdinand said, continuing to tell Tanya the plans.
"Hmmm, yes, if the Akitsushima Dominion is like Imperial Japan, they wouldn't pass up the opportunity to get more territories, but Ferdinand, you are forgetting something important, according to the Laws of War, it is forbidden to attack the colonies of other countries, so how could the Akitsushima help? "The Akitsushima Dominion will only need to declare that it will begin a 'Liberation War' by invading the Imperial Colonies, with the intention of 'liberating' these countries, am I correct?" Tanya asks with a raised eyebrow, only for Ferdinand to nod.
"Exactly, my dear Centurion, that is the plan" Said Ferdinand as he nodded.
"Don't call me that, you idiot" Tanya said seriously, she didn't like the "dear", it's a good thing Ferdinand called her that in private if it were in public, it would give the wrong interpretation to others, especially when she became Centurion.
"Well, I like the idea you had, it really gives an opening to explore in the future War, with this justification the Akitsushima Dominion would not have problems invading the Imperial Colonies on the Dragon Continent" Tanya said.
"Now we just need to hope that when we get there, it will be the Militarist country like Imperial Japan was, for the plans to work" Ferdinand said as he focused back on the newspapers and went back to reading, with Tanya nodding.
At the White House
President MacGyver was reading looking at a newspaper before looking at his Cabinet ministers, then throwing the newspaper on the table, the newspaper had the title on the front page "Can This Happen Here?", with some photos of groups marching in black uniforms.
"This virus is more dangerous than I imagined, news of groups similar to this one, but with different uniforms and ideas, one worse than the other, keeps appearing from both the South and the West Coast" President MacGyver said while banging his fist on the table.
"We cannot allow them to continue to exist! Even though we cannot greatly influence the decision of the States and their Governors, we can prevent more of the population from falling into this litany of these Legionnaires that are emerging in the Homeland, we have to prevent this virus from spreading spread it!" President MacGyver declared while looking seriously at all the ministers, who nodded their heads.
"I want you to use all the newspapers that are our supporters to go against these Legionnaires who are appearing in the US, bribe those who are against us, and report to Congress, we need to find measures to prevent this, THIS CANNOT HAPPEN HERE" President MacGyver shouted, letting his voice be heard even outside his office.
