THE PAST

It was during the end of the winter. A boy named Sam was in his room trying to figure out how he would possibly prepare himself for the upcoming examinations, which was the last but not least examination that he will ever faced in his entire school life.

Sam: "Bro what tf am i supposed to do within this short period of time, i haven't even studied anything yet. Let's just not be too stressed about it, i feel like my head is going to explode just by thinking about the exam, i hate it so much. I'll just chill for a while and it'll be gone i guess, let's just play some games".

Sam was a smart boy with a lazy attitude, he was abandoned by his father before he was even born. He and his mother were left to his grandfather(his mother's father) and his step-grandmother's care during his childhood. His Step-Grandmother disliked his mother so much that she always thought of kicking out both Sam and his Mom.

ONE DAY

(Step-Grandmother):"I think your daughter is having affairs with your friend Brian".

(Grandfather) "What's that!!! Is that true... Did you saw them doing anything unusual".

(Step-Grandmother):"Yes, i have seen them doing many times".

(Grandfather): I'm going to ask her about this, you better right about it.

(Step-Grandmother): No!!!(She shouted)... I meann.... Wha.. What if she lie to you by saying that I'm trying to blame her for something that she didn't do.

(Grandfather): So what should we do then.

(Step-Grandmother): How about you just ask your friend about it.

(Grandfather):All right I'll ask him.But as I've said, you must be truthful about this as it is a serious matter which can results on breaking of a bond between father and daughter.

(Step-Grandmother): Yes i am sure about it, have i ever lied to you.

(Grandfather): Who knows.

Meanwhile the Step-Grandmother was the one having affairs with Brian, and she has already convinced him to proved her accusing Sam's Mother.

Sam's Grandfather arrived at Brian's house.

(Grandfather): BRIAN!!! BRIAN... BRIAN!! Come out you piece of trash.

Brian come out with full preparation.

(Brian): What is it, what's the matter Khum.

(Grandfather): Did you slept with my daughter you traitor.

(Brian): Wait... Khum.. I can explain.

(Grandfather): So, you really did slept with my daughter, how could you.... Aren't you ashamed of yourself. I'm going to kill you you son of a B*tch.

(Brian):Khum please don't misunderstood it.

You see i was at my room reading some books. All of a sudden your daughter came in and got me a drink... I was so drunk that i couldn't resist any of her you know....

(Grandfather): Do you have a proof.

(Brian): Yes, of course i have it, you can ask your wife. She saw her walking towards our house that day.

That day, Sam's Grandfather went home with sorrow and anger in his heart and confused by what Brian told him.

(Door Slam) Grandfather: SELLY!!!(Shouted with trembling voice).

Selly: What is it Father, what happened.

Grandfather: Did you have an affair with Brian.

He ask her because he wish she'd response with ''No", even though he already have enough proof. He still wanted to convince himself that all those things that he had heard was just a false information.

Grandfather: ANSWER ME!!!(He Shouted again).

Selly: Who told you that father.

Grandfather: Just answer the damn question!!! Did you have an affair with Brian.

Selly: Would you believe me if i say No Father.

Grandfather: Just answer me.

Selly: No, i did not father.

Grandfather: How could you lied to your own father even after I've had so many proofs.

Selly: Do what pleased you Father, you can do anything you want to me. But one day, you'll see how wrong you are and when that day come, please always remember that I'll always love you.

That day Khum's anger got even higher that he beat his own daughter many times and kick her out of the house without her son. From that day Khum's heart became filled with anger and hatred towards every of his child, even Sam's life became hell.

Day goes by and now Sam has become 6 years old. He was always cheered by his friends and taken very good cared by their neighbours. For him the only place that he could once called home has became hell like place since his mom gone. It was at this time that his mom came to find him and took him to the city where his real Grandmother, his uncle and his mom has lived in the place that they could call home.
