The next day, I get an alert on my phone.

"XuFeng? What does he need?", I say quietly to myself. "Hey! Are you at school yet? I need help with the homework.", I read out loud. I don't answer but I walk at a quicker pace to class. "XuFeng! I'm here!" I say, catching his attention.

"Oh thank goodness. Can you help me real quick?", he says with a smile.

"Yeah sure. What do you need help on?" I say, sitting down.

"Just these three questions."

I help him through the questions just before the bell rings. I feel MeiLina's eyes staring at me.

"Class! Turn in your assignments!", Mr. Henry yells.

"I'll take yours up there." XuFeng says, already standing up.

I feel a hand on my shoulder and I turn around. "Yes?" I say, as politely as I can.

"Don't you think you should be getting back to your seat?", MeiLina says, arching a perfect eyebrow.

I stifle a scream as I feel a sharp pain on my shoulder. "Let go of me!", I say.

MeiLina rolls her eyes and removes her hand. I look at my shoulder and see a crescent marks with blood from her nails. In a flash, XuFeng is next to me with a tissue. "What happened?"XuFeng asks, with a bit of worry.

"N-nothing.", I reply with a smile. I look behind me just in time to see MeiLina with a wicked smile on her face.
