After countless eras of complete suffering,
Somnus, one of the most malevolent beings to have ever walked that world, would finally be defeated.
However, he would end up receiving a second chance, a second life, so that if he could redeem himself from his sins, he could finally be saved.
And thus began the journey of Eric, the human aspect of Somnus, who had always existed imprisoned within him, and who, before Somnus, was just another human trying to live his life like any other.
Eric now found himself in a world of fantasy and mysteries, a world driven by the absurd, where the greatest clichés he had known in his first life could be found.
From systems, humans with animal ears, elves, to mages.
Will Eric be able to leave behind his past as a Demon Lord to embark on a normal life? Or will he simply follow his path of wars and destruction until his death?"

This is a long-term development story, featuring a character who exists between two realities: the physical world, a fantastical reality full of secrets and mysteries, and the Dreamlands, an external world where Archons, Daemons, and other purely spiritual beings exist.
A system will be introduced in this story as soon as the protagonist turns fifteen, but before that, the focus of this story is purely on the continuous development of Eric, the main character, the characters around him, and this world.
I don't intend to focus on romance for now, and I hope, if possible, to carry this story through hundreds and hundreds of chapters.
