Now what? Before he could get worried, his new boss appeared.
Winslow smiled. “Welcome to the Flying W. Curt called and told me you were on the way. Let me give you afast tour and then get you settled. For now, I’d like you to keep a pretty low profile. Oh, some folks will notice there’s someone new around, but I hire extra help as needed to supplement the regular crew, so it won’t cause a stir.”

Dan told himself the surge of excitement he felt when he saw Mal step down from the old Dodge grew from ahope he’d soon have the answer to the mysterious damage to his truck and who was behind it. Certainly it didn’t have anything to do with the young mechanic himself.
