The Game Who Ruined My Life

It was a couple of weeks before summer when a bad accident happened, and my best friend of all my life lost his life, causing me so much pain and sadness.

"Hello… I hope that wherever you are… you heard my voice… I present once again myself to you… my dear friend, cause… maybe… you not longer remember me, right?... All I know is that I want to thank you… because you have been someone important in my life; someone who bring me joy and happiness… my dear friend… I will miss you forever."

Those were the final words I said to him in his funeral.

The next couple of weeks were hell.

Why? Why do we have to take upon so much loss and sorrow?

Why are we so damn fragile?

Skin and bones, Ha, easy to tear and break.

Damn!

Without knowing what to do… it took time, some people said that time heals, but I haven't been heal, I am still so hurt…

Still, in the last day of school, a friend and classmate of mine, recommended me a game.

[The Wrath of the Hero]

In the game, you took control of Edmund Salvatore, a Baron's son, who gets to discovered that he possesses the legendary class of [HERO], destine to save the world.

His journey begins in LaBelle, or officially known as the Royal Academy of Magic Knights of LaBelle, that was in the northwest of Avalon Kingdom.

A game full of adventure and action begun, the 1st arc was full of classes you must attend and pass, and even could have a girlfriend.

The relationship system was great, not only for friendship, but for romantic ones, being in the game Six Main Heroines.

Starting by the 2nd Arc of the game, from the 3rd to the 14th Arc, you have an entire arc with a Main Heroine's main story, two arcs per Main Heroine.

So, each of them possesses a great amount of character's development.

If your patience was short, you could try to even try to get deeper into a relationship with one of them, by doing extra secondary missions of them, always having them into your [Hero's Party] and by giving them extra attention and gifts.

Sadly, starting evening, no matter where you where, they went to their rooms, and you were alone.

In the middle of the night, you could even try to go to certain places in the academy's building that possesses secrets and nice rewards, like Relics or Books of Epic Skills.

Nightly missions were alone, were hella dangerous, but with greater rewards.

There were even some secret scenes where you could see some mysterious characters having sex, thanks to the game's guide, I get to know about those spicy scenes.

Something to calm the fucking hormones of a teenager.

Yep, it was a cool game, and by the 15th arc, I got to know that I was close to finish it, and I already considered the game the greatest I have ever played, sadly, I didn't read the spoilers from the final three arcs.

And, since I start it, I used to visit my dear best friend in the hospital, telling him about the game, and praying that one day I could show him and play it with him.

Still, time pass, and the game that was of a long duration, was finally coming to its sixteenth arc.

It was also my fault that I try to do everything, cleaning every secondary mission, finding every secret, and trying to get to know every easter egg.

And then, the last part of the 16th arc came, and the worst revelation was revealed.

A character that was supposed to be one of the hero's confidants, was stealing every heroine, main, secondary, and special ones, it didn't matter, all heroines were taken away by that secret antagonist…

NTR…

I really fucking hate NTR...

Maybe Netori... but HELL NO! I didn't like it, stealing a lover was wrong, cheating was wrong, although it was more common that one would like to think about it.

So, it was revealed then, that all the spicy scenes were about the secret antagonist banging every heroine.

That make it much worse, the pain was full, all that time trying to win every heroine, my six main heroines, all the dozens of secondary heroines, and the few and rare special heroines, all for nothing.

All my blood, sweat & tears was for nothing.

That fucking character took it all behind the scenes…

Even in the seventeenth arc there was a part where you find the fucking diary of that fucker, and you must see the different scenes of how he took every heroine.

Three hours of video content that you could not jump over, you must watch it all… hell, a living fucking hell, my favorite game was destroyed.

What did the developers think about this fucking revelation.

This was supposed to be the best game of my life, but it turns into a nightmare.

A lost my fucking way, took the wrong turn, and now, by my brute proudness, I must end the game.

The eighteenth and last arc consist of killing all the cheaters, and by that killing your friends, comrades, and the family of the women who try to defend them.

Then, you could at least watch how the hero tortures the bastard, and the fucking three-minutes-scene let you pass over the scene, why these and not the other? Why?!

Then, the fate battle between the [Wrath Hero of Madness] Edmund, and the [Valiant Villain of Sorrow] Zion.

A battle that ends with the villain's death.

Then, the credits, and at the end, a last scene, when the second biggest reveal is shown.

The "true" villain, who orchestrated everything from the shadows, who used the secret antagonist to steal the heroines who were around the hero, she did it, because she wants the hero for herself.

That bitch was the responsible, and she was the true winner of the game, not the player nor the hero, the bitch, who achieved what she wants, to be the only person next to the mad hero.

A happy ending?

There's no way.

The game that I thought would make me forget all the pain and sadness, bring me close to madness, just like the fucking hero, a dense, stupid, arrogant boy, who became crazy and killed everybody he once cares about.

Nothing.

At the end, there was nothing but pain and a feeling of void.

I ended the game by the end of summer, and once school was back, I was furious and want to kill my exfriend.

"You fucker!" – Once I saw him at the other part of the street, I went running right to him.

Sadly, for my stupid me, I didn't see the dear Truck coming through my way.

The innocent truck-kun was incapable of stopping, fate was seal.

I only saw the bastard scare and trying to run away, and the other students and passersby who saw the scene of my final moments.

I only felt for a second the hellish pain, and then, nothing, a total blackout.

'Why?' – My only regret was to not end the life of the bastard who ruin my summer… at least my dear friend didn't have to suffer my pain and sorrow, and the disgrace to play this mad game.

And then, accepting my dead, I close my eyes, and I will finally find peace.

…

'No fucking way!' – or so I thought.

The face the huge fucking dragon was hilarious, I never thought that I would see a majestic and fantastic beast like a huge red dragon make a funny face.

This was at least a little worthy.

"So, please, become my master… Alphiore, the wise Dragon of the East."

And so it begins, my life as a mere MOB, worse that I side character, or even the extra that appear sometimes, I was destined to die, but no, my life will change, and all begins when I met the Wise Dragon of the East, Alphiore.
