Beginning

At the park under the scorching mid-day sun. A young man is sitting on a bench with a box beside him. His necktie loosed and tilted eyeglass. His face shows disappointment and sadness. Occasionally sighing deep before slumping deeper. People walking-by look at him with sympathy and mockery.

Kevin: Haaa… What now? It's just the 7th month since I got the job and I lost it. Uhhmmm… 12th job so far.

Tidying his things, the bus stops infront of him. Lonely boarding the bus with some people sitting alone on each sides. Kevin walks to the far end of it.

Busily staring at the passing streets and cars. Kevin arrive at his stop. An apartment stand just few meters away. Taking the stairs he arrive at 7th floor.

Kevin: Sorry, Ma… I got fired again. My life sucks paps. I don't get anything worthwhile. I miss you guys.

He walks to a family photo. Caressing it lovingly before blowing of the dust and cleaning it with his sleeve. He return it to wall and stand staring at it while his eyes starts to red.

Kevin: Maybe, it's my karma for losing you both. It's really my fault Ma…. Even granddad's death can be avoided if I did accept his invitation. Grandma died because of sadness and both of you also died because of me. Haaa… If I didn't attend that stupid party. I could have checked the stoves and tank as I always do.. Hhhmm. Naaa… i didn't I got myself seducted by some gal for a short time fun in exchange for both of you. Haaaa…. I'm really sorr-

Kevin suddenly kneeled in pain as he grind his teeth in panic. His eyes burns in crimson and whole face flushing in heat. Kevin tried to reach for his phone but it breaks in a meer touch.

Kevin: Gaaahhh!!

Collapsing from the massive pain. He curls on the ground gripping his head hard while blood starts to came out of his mouth and ears. Black vortex suddenly appears under Kevin. Once, he becomes almost as pale as a ghost the black vortex pulled him in. Like a bending light being sucked by a blackhole. His body stretch and compressed into a single point. He didn't even got a choice before he vanish from Earth.

In a large battle coliseum that medieval era is proud of is a large grassland that can house 10 football fields. Countless black orbs appear with 1 meters margin. Kevin is one of them he drops on the cold grass ground coughing hard while still having his eyes close. When the heat of light assaulted his face he opens his eyes and became shock to the change of environment.

*WWWWOOOOOOO!!!

Numerous numbers of races and beings seated at the far with badges on their chest. Kevin is lying on the ground in front of a green bulky ogre. He was grunting for unknown reason but once he lay his eyes on Kevin he smiled. Reaching out,he picks up Kevin and raise him up like a kitten.

???: Hahaha!! What is a human doing here!!

*Wwooonnnggggg!!!

The ogre drop him to the ground.

??: Greetings Champion of Worlds!! You are now standing on Arkus Coliseum and having chance to enter the inner working of the omniverse! Before that everyone of you must complete task for Fanction to choose from!! As parting gift from this old man. I hereby grant you some kits!!

A sachet drops from the sky. Everyone catches one and Kevin unconsciously also did. He stare at it before looking at everyone and stare at the orbs floating down from the sky. Focusing on it, Kevin watch it play some sort of viewing.

???: In these quest orbs are worlds. You can observe first before jumping in. The bags have 3 things on it. A weapon creation kit, a armor creation kit and a ring for appraisal.

Kevin gulps in worry as he continues to stare at the orbs in front of him. Dragons, goblins, wars and masscre in being shown. The ogre behind him smiles and quicklt reach for Kevin's sachet. Feeling a heavy tugging he reach out and accidentally touched a black orb.

???: Ohhh! Look like someone is already a goner. Good luck!!

Kevin and the ogre got sucked inside the black orb. At the empty sky, a blue panel opens up.

Kevin: Shiitt!!

Starting off by dropping about 20 feet high. Kevin tried to hold for the tree branches but they broke off after slowing him down.

*Thud!!

Kevin: Awww!! That's gonna hurt for sometime.

He landed on his back with the soft black soil catching him squarely. Kevin crawled aside toward the tree in front of him. He sits with his back leaning on.

Kevin: Seriously, what just happen here? I almost die then kidnapped before being thrown to a world. I don't know about with a ogre waiting for me back home to get my ass kicked. How lucky am I to have this happen in just a span of few minutes.

He started to breathe fast, having a panic attack for the first time.

*Bangg!! Bang!!

"Enemy!! Fire!!"

Commotions then started just few meters away from his place. Kevin peeks out from the side of the tree trunk and see a huge bulky 7 ft tall man ramming a tree with his shoulders. It breaks like a twig. The man then catches the snapped tree in his large hands and throws it to the soldiers firing at him. Bloods came rushing out of it's pierce wounds.

Kevin: ohhhhh… Shit! He is here also!! Fuck! Fuckk! Fuckk!!!

Kevin then crawled up heading toward the opposite direction.

*Waaaaarrrhhhhh!!*

He look back and see a few couples of trees were taken down and it makes Kevin runs faster. Unknowingly, he is running faster than Bolt by twice.

*Thudd!! Bamm!!*

Kevin tripped off a root after having his eyes focus on running away from the danger. He sighed after reaching a promising distance and just remain lying on the ground breathing hard.
