Parents, Part 1

On the next day, Gus is about to leave his house, for almost a day. He disconnected the capsule from the charging after he got fully charged, he turns on the capsule authentication password, player identification fingerprint, and retina check to confirm the player's identity. He could've turned on even the blood sample authentification, but he doesn't have time to do it because he has to go to their parent's home, and the only way to go there is to take the bus. There could be another way, but Gus is running short on money to ask his friend to drive him there. Gus doesn't have a car, neither a driver's license.

Gus goes down from the floor where he is taking the stairs because the elevator is being repaired all week and that doesn't even bother him because he goes down the stairs almost every day. This character has a phobia when it comes to the elevator, gets scared, and becomes anxious even when he is close to one. But in video games, Gus is taking the elevator, and I think readers know why... It is because if you get hurt in this video game it will not be affecting in real life.

When he leaves the building, Gus leaves with a backpack carrying some sandwiches he made this morning and a bottle of Coca-Cola juice. Food for the road because food from gas stations or other stores have become very expensive in recent days. Even if Gus has taken his salary and can convert a few billion and be rich, he only does it when he has to because he has to keep his reputation low-key from the outside world, even from his family. As Gus walks the streets of the city, he notices a beggar leaning against a wall and wearing a dirty Pandora hat upside down to show that money can be put there that he will use either for drugs or to eat something good. Gus, being a man with a big heart, decides to take out a fifty-dollar bill because that banknote is useless to him, but extremely important to that beggar. He puts that bench there, and when the beggar saw her, he couldn't believe it, he looked at Gus and smiled at him. that smile that means to some people that they can buy drugs now. But, even before the hobo thanks him, Gus tells him.

"Promise me you will use that money to get food. Promise!"

"Y-Yeah. I pr-promise." says the hobo who looks scared at the Gus.

"If I ever found you that you are using my money for drugs. I will heal you from those wounds."

"I-I promise!"

"Good. Now, take care of yourself, man," says Gus who is shaking the hand of the hobo and he continues walking to the Bus station, where thousands of buses are coming and taking people into far places.

While Gus was walking to that station, the hobo continues to look confused at Gus, and then at that fifty-dollar banknote. Then he looks sad at the sky, and he says with a loud voice, while he was crying.

"I am sorry, Martha! I really am!"

Gus heard those screaming who were coming from the beggar, and while he was walking, he was crying a little. But he didn't mind because he was much more focused on the thing he did. He saved a man's living who was going downhill, but now he has a chance to remake it.

Later this day, Gus arrives at his parent's house, by taking a bus, which has stopped at three kilometers distance from their house, and from there, Gus was walking because this boy really does like walking far distance. Sometimes he even does that thing in the game because walking on the deadly roads in South America or on the China Great walls, is truly an amazing experience which not many people can do in real life or in that video game.

While he was walking to the road who is guiding him to their parent's house, he saw three of his old friends who are walking on the opposite part of the street, wearing business costumes with ties. At that moment, Gus was wondering about one thing, and the thing he was wondering about it is how he would look if he wears that type of costume while he was going to work. Unfortunately, those guys did not recognize Gus, which made him feel sad, but he understands that they got much more important business. "Some of them might have children and they have to work and keep some money for them when the hard times will come." he thought to himself and he was also smiling. "After all, when you are an adult, your roads are changing. You let those friends from childhood doing their business and you do your business. That is how adulthood works after all. We cannot be children and do crazy things for the rest of our life.".

He arrives in front of his house, and there's saw it, his mother and father, who are outside and everyone is doing their own thing. Father is about to assemble his ladder who will help him climb to the roof and repair it. And Gus Mother, is just outside, sitting on a chair and looking at his lovely husband who was about to climb the ladder. But then, those two are turning around when they heard the gate being opened, and they were happy that they saw their dear son who is entering their property with a backpack who is not even empty yet since Gus has eaten that sandwich and drunk a little bit of that Cola.

He hugs his mother, who was coming at him, and then he shakes the hand of his father who welcomes him to be here, and he also appreciates the help coming from him.

"You are sure we are not disturbing from your work, dear?" he asks his mother. "Hae told your boss that you are going to stay for a day here?"

"Don't worry, Mom. I told him and he let me have a free day." lies Gus because he doesn't have a "Boss" much likely some developers who are not even carrying that one tester is taking one daybreak, even a week. For them, the only thing that matters is if the product is tested and it is good in fighting or combat.

They talk for a little bit, and then Gus, puts his backpack in his ex-room, he takes off his good shirt, and he puts one from his wardrobe, who still has some clothes of his size in there. When he moved from there, he let a few things there when he will go on vacation or in these times. After he takes the clothes, he was about to leave his ex-room, but then his phone has started ringing. It is a call, from one of his friends from the game, Dan.

Gus responds to the call and before he was about to ask him why he is calling he tells Gus.

"Gus. Could you give me some advice on a girl from the game?"
