World Invasion: Cultivation

I've read transmigration novels, but they've never had too many people transferred at once. I want to change that by bringing an entire world and plop it over another. How would two technological time periods clash? How will they adapt to a magic/cultivation based world where technology is less than an after thought? *** =Rewriting In progress= -=Progress 21%+Old World Lore and Prologue=- (Each percent = Corresponding chapter number) *** Ip Cheng, an oriental man whose been away from his birth country since 8 finally returns at 19. He hasn't fully been separated from the culture though as he's read cultivation novels while away. He's come to reminisce a little about his past as well as take a break to enjoy his stay. Not long after though a quaking erupts from the earth as he loses consciousness. When he wakes up nothing seems different, until new land is suddenly discovered. It's almost like one of the transmigration novels he's read, but who is the protagonist? Normally it's just one person who's transferred, but what about now? Also Yanderes, multiple Yanderes, many Yanderes, just enough Yanderes. Please tell me if you spot any errors or plot holes in my writing. That would be greatly appreciated, thank you. Schedule: I'm enjoying writing YSM more right now, possible resumption in the future. P.S This is my first time writing a novel and I'm doing this for fun.

Lockdown

(Kenny POV)

It's around midway through the six months they decided to shut down the borders of what used to be our only land mass. Waves of the ocean crash against the ship I'm currently on as I lean over a railing, looking out towards the sea that fills up my vision to the horizon.

The first month and a half was filled with people who thought the world was going to end causing prices of ordinary items to go up. Whenever those people went into stores they would empty almost entire shelves by the end of the week and because of their paranoia they had created a demand for those supplies that wouldn't even of appeared if they acted calm and rational.

On the other hand there were people who denied the fact we were no longer the only landmass to exist or people who were crazy and tried breaking out of the lockdown to go out and explore those lands.

It was probably easiest for the middle kingdom to guard their borders as it was mostly land with only a small portion being what used to be the east ocean. Our country only had to deal with the ocean since we were the only one to not have any direct contact with the new world lands. The remaining two countries had to deal with both the land and sea.

I heard that quite a few groups of people had actually already sneaked by the gaps left by our navy's patrol routes. The friends of those people had talked about it around town but whenever anyone asked those people about what happened after wards they wouldn't be able to answer. Some said that they never heard back from them ever since while others made up excuses like "They're probably having to too much fun to come back." or something.

Tv is still good though, well cable is at least. A few days after our discovery happened most of the population had figured out that cable still worked while satellite tv had only static since the moment our world became one with this one.

"Hey! Private what are you looking at out there?" A rough voice comes from behind

Turning around a man with a scruffy beard in a forest OCP battle dress uniform with a corporal insignia on his shoulder.

"Ah! Corporal I was just-"

"Just call me Buck. Don't worry there isn't anything to do here anyway, I won't tell."

"Ah okay."

"You probably didn't expect to be put on a ship when you joined the army did you? Well, lucky you since our team was the one to be assigned to the ship with the most escape attempts. They only needed more man power since we've been running low to stretch out the ocean barricade."

We were assigned out here since this was the area most people attempted to escape. It was also an area closest to our neighboring nation the Confederacy of Ferling. Every once in a while a ship does appear and it may get ahead of us, but we would just catch up to it stopping them.

"Buck, can I ask you something?"

"Yes uh.. Kenny, is that right?"

"Yea, why are we out here?"

"It's because the navy needs more man power our fleet is spread out to cover our entire shoreline."

"But what do we even do on these ships? It seems we don't do anything at all except just being on the ship."

Turning my head towards him I can see him smiling as he looks at me. Raising his arm he pointed toward a small dot in the distance that was slowly expanding.

"Would you look at that. It's another little boat trying sneak out. It looks like a fast one too, I better go and get ready." Walking away from the railing

Looking back towards where the little boat was spotted the distance between them and us had decreased significantly. After maybe another 5 to 10 seconds they would have caught up to us. Seeing how close they had already gotten I started going to the little meeting place our sergeant said to go to every time a boat came.

This had already happened around 2 times since we were assigned here two weeks ago. The first one headed back as soon as we caught them but the other one sped through when they came close. We had to shoot at them to make sure they wouldn't keep going which in turn stopped them since we had managed to damage their propeller. We took them onto our boat then went back ashore to drop them off.

When I got to the little room the rest of my team was already there. Sergeant Johnson, Corporal Buck, and Private Williams all looked my way as I came through the doorway.

"Alright you know the drill by now. Just grab a rifle and let's go to the deck to hope they just go back to where they came. If they don't we'll have to see if we can do what we did last time."

To my right there was a small vertical rifle rack with just enough guns for the four of us. During my time in boot camp they told me this gun as was the standard issue. The Forcer-X4A3 Assault rifle a standard 30 round mag filled with 5.56mm rifle cartridges, but all our rifles had detached the carrying handle sight with another optic that has magnification. Grabbing mine by the handguard rails I follow after the sergeant to the deck with a couple spare mags in my hands.

On our way out to the deck I felt the motion as our ship started moving.

"I guess they're running then." Buck's voice

By the time we made it out to the front deck the ship their boat had already passed us by around a 100 meters. Going up to the front of the ship we position our rifles on the railings for some support.

*Bang*

Sergeant Johnson takes the first shot only to hit the side which was the starting signal for our barrage of lead towards the the fast little boat. Miraculously for them we somehow weren't able to land a single shot on any of the vital parts of their boat. We couldn't actually harm any of the people on the boat without getting some kind of punishment so we just had to keep aiming for the boat parts.

We had been taking our time to aim down the sights to not waste any ammo. So only after 3 minute did some one start to change their mag, it was me. While I was changing it I happened to catch a glimpse behind us. The shoreline we've seen the past two weeks was barely visible.

'Although I don't know much about ships they said this was a cyclone class coastal patrol ship. Should we be this far out in the ocean?'

We kept firing upon the boat for another 2 minutes before we had finally managed to hit something that slowed them down.

Our boat quickly caught up with them before stopping near them.

A shout could be heard behind me from one of the seaman "Release the Rib(Ridged Inflatable boat) on the port side."

Looking over the left side there they were a group of five people three women and two men on a familiar looking speed boat. These were the guys from last time; why would they try to do this again?

Their shouts were heard from below as we over down on them. "You guys fucking suck!" "Did you cocksuckers forget your training or something?" "How did it take you 5 whole minutes to do it this time when it only took you 1 last time!" "You guys are pathetic I can't believe no one has managed to get pass you idiots yet!"

"Damn it we have to deal with these assholes again!" We heard all heard buck and I for one was definitely felt the same.

"Just deal with it. It'll be over soon." Sgt. Johnson said while putting on the rifle strap and walking back to our little room.

Before we could even get place our rifles back on the rack a massive splash was heard coming from the left side of the ship. Looking out the doorway I saw a huge serpent like creature erupt from the water and crash directly into our boat. The weight of the crash tilted our ship 45 degrees to the starboard side. Causing most is not everybody to slip and slide towards that side.

A thunderous roar was heard before the second hit to our boat was made. This time as I slid back a fire extinguisher from what is now almost the roof became unhinged flying directly at me.

The last thing I saw was a bright red circle as I almost instantly lost consciousness.

Slowly opening my eyes I notice the shore as I'm dragged from behind away from the sea. A beard appears from above as the man says "Wake up! I know you're alive!" as he puts my back against a tree.

'Buck?'

When my eyes fully opened I see the two vessels in front of me. The whole speed boat those five were using was almost no where to be found as chunks and pieces is all that remains along the shore. The ship we were on was still mostly in one piece thanks to it's armor, but it was still heavily damaged. The bridge of the ship was completely crushed and most of the hull was damaged.

Looking around I didn't see any of the officers of the ship and many of the crew wasn't here either. The officers were probably all in the bridge overseeing everything. Somehow my team survived along with those five assholes.
