"Game Support, please show me the quests status." Dom asked.

[Calculating Quest Completion]

[Congratulations on completing Quest 1 - Win the Battle

Battle Difficulty - A

Total Score - S

You used modern tactics to turn history, giving the Egyptians a resounding win over the Hittite forces. You used deception and introduced better uses of Cavalry units. You captured the City of Kadesh directly, rather than through a long drawn out siege.]

[Mission Rewards have been placed in your Personal Chest]

[Congratulations on completing Quest 2 - Have at least 80% of the Egyptian force alive at the end of the Battle

You used the Infantry as bait in your first battle, allowing you to complete a large victory with the cavalry over the Hittite forces, however this did cause a large decrease in the Ra Legion's Infantry fighting force. Dom had a read through all of the information popping up in front of him as the notifications appeared one after another. He was happy with the few grade S results he got from the Prestige and Battle quests, however he was worried about what the Prestige notification explained to him. If the Empires of World Conquest Online were starting to hear whispers about Riverside, that meant that they had to step up their game in case any of them weren't happy with the whispers.

Dom was a bit disappointed with the B for surviving Egyptian force quest, but felt that if he hadn't had gone full on in his mission and done the things they had done, they wouldn't have got the two S's on the other quests. He was however happy he had completed two hidden quests, but wondered what the hidden quests he hadn't completed were. He also wondered how many people he would have had to recruit to get an S on the Increase Population Hidden quest and who the Grade S people where he could recruit, as he would not have dared recruiting King Rameses II.

"So how did we do?" Subutai asked Dom, whilst the newcomers looked on with confused expressions.

"We completed the three main requests as expected, and two hidden quests. All rewards are in my chest as usual, but we got three grade B results and two grade S results." Dom replied.

"That should give us a good haul." Lucius replied, "Hopefully we can get at least one Wooden Token and can upgrade another Building to Level 2. Then we can complete the final quest to upgrade the Town Centre and we can work on a new section of quests."

"I agree!" Subutai stated, "They give us a direction to concentrate on and the rewards are key in our quick growth, which we need to maintain."

"Thankfully the influx of six hundred new civilians will reduce my worries for citizen growth for a while." Lucius replied, "But I do believe that needs to be a priority still."

"As does a defensive wall, so hopefully we can get some rewards that point us in that direction." Shang Yang added.

"Can someone explain this to me?" Meritamen interrupted, wanting to understand what the four of them were discussing, where as Tomyris, Tomoe and Gan Ning were just sat back and relaxing in the warm sun that came down on the outside of the Heroes Hall. Uriah and Abubakar also wondered what was going on, but both knew that their station was to low to interrupt this particular conversation.

"The World gives Lord Lazarus quests, which we complete and receive rewards. I'll explain in more detail later." Shang Yang replied to her, "Lord Lazarus, it may be best that you head over and get your rewards, we can meet you in the Town Centre once you have claimed them."

"I'll head over as well, Tomoe you may want to get yourself some rest first. Gan Ning and Tomyris, please support with the influx of the new members to Riverside." Subutai commanded, "Abubakar and Uriah, please also assist and help integrate those that have come, you may also want to give the Warriors a decision on their next steps."

"Ok, I'll head over now." Dom stated, turning towards the Town Centre and walking away from the group, gratefully leaving Meritamen behind with Shang Yang. Subutai followed alongside him and suddenly he was flanked by Gregorios and Trojan. Who took up their regular guard duty of Dom when he was inside Riverside.

"Did you have fun Lord?" Trojan asked seriously as they walked towards the Town Centre.

"I would say it was more tiring than fun." Dom replied to him.

"It was quite fun." Subutai added, "You would have enjoyed it."

"Did you miss us?" Gregorios asked with a grin.

"Not at all, I much prefer the company of Spartans." Dom replied, causing Gregorios to stop walking and give a fake look of hurt.

"That may be one of the most horrible things anyone has ever said to me." Gregorios replied as they passed over the mosaic floor and the stone benches outside the Town Centre. Trojan stepped forwards and pushed the doors open as Dom and Subutai walked in. As usual the two stationed themselves outside the door and would wait until Dom returned or they had switched with their counterparts, which was usually Homer and Hector.

"I'm going to head to my office." Subutai said to Dom, "I'll come back out shortly when you return, I want to work through some plans now that we have some additional man power coming in. I think your ideas for Uriah and Abubakar are correct, we definitely need some management of the Town Guard, however I'm not sure on if Abubakar will be the right deputy for me and I may send him with Gan Ning instead."

"I think with their personalities, very little will get completed." Dom replied as he reached the bottom of the stairs.

"That is a very good point." Subutai agreed disappointedly as he continued to the doorway that led to the Offices. As he was about to open the door, it suddenly flew open in front of him and Sostratus walked straight in to him.

"Sorry General!" Sostratus said as he got himself up from the floor. "I was in a rush to check on the new house construction."

"It's fine." Subutai commented, "I wasn't totally paying attention myself, what is that you have there?"

In the hand of Sostratus was a large rolled up piece of parchment, which he was holding tightly as he had left the wing of the building.

"It's the new schematic that arrived in my office this morning!" He replied, "I was going to take it to Mayor Lucius after I had completed my inspection with Wang Shu."

Dom stopped walking up the stairs at the sound of this, and turned back around to see what the commotion was. Having remembered that he had planned to visit Sostratus at some point and collect the new Schematic himself.

"What is it?" Dom asked excitedly.

"Something that I think you'll be very excited about!" Sostratus replied, moving towards one of the large tables and unrolling the parchment on to the table. Dom leant over with Subutai and took a look at the building schematic.

It was a tall circular building, with a ground floor that could be used for housing a small number of people, including a location for a stove and some storage, with a small side building that seemed like a small stables. On the second floor was further open space that could be used for beds and eating. The third and final floor was more open and had a large space that looked to be made for burning materials. On the side view of the building on the schematic, there were clear window locations and Dom felt that this would be a key building going forwards.

"It's a Watchtower." Subutai commented excitedly. "If we can build these on the outskirts of our territory we can have clear viewership of what is going on. This location at the top is for burning straw and over materials to create signals to other towers that are further away. This stables here means we can place fast riders who can pass on messages as well."

"We need to get these constructed in the east to warn us against Tongpai Town and in the south where we have little knowledge of what is going on." Dom replied.

"And in the location of Gluttonous Chief's Village to the west." Subutai added, "I'd also like to station one of the Trireme's there when we have a few of them built and trained."

"Thanks Sostratus!" Dom said seriously to the cities architect. "I just need to prewarn you before you leave, that we have suddenly gained over eight hundred new people so will need to do a lot of new house building over the next few days."

"Thankfully we have some tents, but I think we are going to struggle to house that many!" Sostratus replied, "I'll work with Wang Shu on some temporary shelters!"

Sostratus rerolled the schematic before heading out of the Town Centre, leaving Dom and Subutai alone again.

"Second time lucky?" Dom asked.

"Second time lucky." Subutai agreed as he opened the door to the offices and headed in.
