Prime Real Estate

Dom was relieved to see that the Town Centre had upgraded, but was still in awe at the changes from it's outside. The building had grown an additional level and all those that passed by paused to stare at it, the silver wood it was made from shinned in the sun and gave a majestic feel to all those beneath it. Due to its additional floor, it was now clearer from a distance and all those in Riverside were able to see it from where they were located.

"It looks like its slowly turning in to a palace." Shang Yang stated as they looked at it.

"If it continues to grow we will definitely need to reassess our locations for real estate much sooner." Lucius replied, nodding his head in agreement.

Those that were new to Riverside had the biggest shocks as the ground had shook and strange changes had happened around them, but people who were from Riverside explained that this was usual and they should get used to it.

"Shall we have a look at the Pond?" Subutai asked, interested in the value of the small pond that had appeared beside the mosaic floor outside. Dom agreed and the four of them walked over towards it and looked down. The pond was made from a white marble and the water inside was clear, it was at least three metres wide and five metres long.

"It's empty bar the water." Dom stated as they looked inside it.

"It's most likely similar to the mosaic, an extra level of prestige and aesthetic to add to Riverside. It can't all be buildings and work, we need some beauty and entertainment as well." Shang Yang stated.

"Maybe we can fill it with some of the Red Koi Carp from the Underground Ancient City entrance?" Subutai said.

"I'm not sure how we can transport them, but that would be quite nice." Dom replied, "Maybe grab some of the lily pads as well."

"We could speak with the florist Jason as well and see if there is any local fauna that we can use to add to the pond area." Lucius added. "Maybe even head to the Market and speak with Makali and see if he can get us any brought in."

"It's not a priority for now, but we could make this area in to quite a beautiful place, for relaxation and outside meetings." Shang Yang commented.

"Let's head inside for now and inspect the changes, I also need to check the rewards from the Quest completion, in case we have any other rewards related to Riverside's growth." Dom ordered.

"I wonder if your room is in the same place?" Lucius asked, which did cause Dom a slight worry.

They entered through the doors of the Town Centre and in to the hall, which seemed to have grown longer and slightly wider. Dom noted that his seat had raised slightly and it now had two smaller raised seats on each side of it. The rows of tables were still there as usual, but they seemed to have been pushed more to the sides so that the central pathway was wider to walk down.

"It seems that this has become more of a great hall." Shang Yang commented, "A place were a Lord can sit and pass his judgement on local issues between the lower castes. The two seats beside it will most likely be for the most senior officials in Military and Civil affairs that are available at the time. If for example you and Subutai are away, Lucius and a member of the Military such as Gan Ning could sit in those places to continue dealing with the tasks."

"An interesting concept." Dom replied, "thankfully we haven't needed to do anything like that as of yet."

"And with my rules of Law, this should be reduced as well." Shang Yang agreed. "Where would you like to inspect first? The upper floors or the Office wing?"

"I'm going to explore upstairs first and then we can head to the Offices." Dom replied, "I want to grab any additional rewards first."

"We will also need to request some new Quests." Lucius added.

Dom nodded his head in agreement and headed towards his staircase that would take him up to his room. He grabbed the rail as he walked up, whilst the rest of them inspected the new and improved seating at the front of the hall. There were even better made seats at the front of all of the tables, which Shang Yang had explained would be for the more senior people when banquets were held.

Dom headed up the stairs, but as his head reached the second floor he was shocked at his sight. Rather than his usual bedroom that he expected, there was a large open room, with a fireplace on one wall and lots of seats, tables and other home comforts around the room. On the backwall was a large empty bookcase, and there were also some simple paintings of stories from Riverside's journey so far. Dom stepped in to the open room and his feet felt the soft wool rugs that were lay here and there. It was like a large living room, where he could relax and have as his own space. There was also a staircase on the far side that led up, as well as some closed doors next to it.

Dom first walked towards the doors that were beside the staircase and pushed the first one open. Inside was a large king-size bed, slightly smaller than Dom's usual one in Riverside. There was a dresser with a mirror and a chest at the bottom of the bed. Beside the wall was a large wardrobe and all of the wood was made from the same silver wood as everything else in Riverside was. There was also some hints of purple here and there which matched that of the leaves. On the walls were some simple candle's for light and some similar images to the living room of Riversides history.

Dom pushed open the second door and noted that it was almost identical to the first room. With only some slight changes to the décor, such as engravings on the bed posts or the images that adorned the walls. Dom noted that there was four doors, and after checking he saw that all of them were the same. Dom now realised that the middle floor of the Town Centre had become a proper living space for him, rather than just a bedroom and with the kitchen downstairs still he could live happily in the Town Centre if needed.

He walked up the staircase to the third floor and was relieved to see that it was his usual large bedroom, with his personal chest at the base of his fur covered bed, his window was still there so that he could see out across Riverside, which he went and did. The extra height allowed him to see further and he was impressed at the scope of growth that was happening, everywhere he looked he could see people moving around and completing their daily tasks.

The farmlands in the distance continued to go on and he could even note that there was some colour starting to appear, creating clear lines between the different crops that were being grown. He also looked across to the steady river and noted the fishing boats that were travelling up and down it. This did bring him to think about Ophelia and Helena and he decided that he would go and check up on them soon.

He headed to his personal chest and opened it up, having a look at the additional rewards that he had gathered.

Red Cube - Elite Villager Spawner

Black Cube - Villager Spawner

Green Cube - Random Building Spawner

Dom was happy with these rewards, but was surprised that there wasn't an Orange Cube in there but a Green Cube instead. He had a high amount of Heroes so he an additional building was probably more important for him now, but he was still surprised. He grabbed the Green Cube and put it in his sack with the others, before heading back down the two floors to meet up with the others.

"How was it?" Subutai asked as he saw Dom coming down the stairs to the Great Hall.

"I have a whole floor for a living space, including four bedrooms and a living room full of seats, rugs and an open fire." Dom replied.

"So similar to the Heroes Hall?" Lucius asked.

"Quite similar yes." Dom said, wondering where this was going.

"The Heroes Hall is getting rather full, so at least we have some over flow bedrooms if needed." Lucius stated seriously.

"I hadn't fought about it, maybe we should use the Wooden Token on that?" Dom replied.

"Possibly, but it's probably a waste." Lucius argued. "Shall we head in to the Offices then?"

The four of them headed in to the offices, seeing that the normal four offices were still there, the Architects Office, Mayor's Office, Commanders Office and the Sanitation Office. Beyond the four usual offices was a staircase that took them to a second floor, which they all gingerly walked up, excited and nervous at what they would find. The second floor was almost identical to the first, with four Office doors available.

"It seems that we have some Office's to roll." Lucius stated, "Let's hope we have luck on our side."

Dom asked Game Support if this was the case, and she agreed, asking him if he was ready to roll.

"System, please roll me an office." Dom asked politely.

"Show Stats!" Dom exclaimed.

[Diplomats Office

Office Assignee - Domestic hero]

Dom opened the door and peaked inside, there was a similar desk to what was in the other Office's, however the room was more lavishly decorated, with a Chaise Lounge and fragrant candles. There was a board on the back wall that had a list of the other areas that Riverside had met with, outlining their Diplomatic level.

Tongpai Town - Neutral/Bad

Local Power - Unknown

King Rameses II - Neutral/Good

Dom was relieved to see that the Local Power was listed, but wished he had been given a name of them or at least an idea of what their thoughts on Riverside were. The note on Tongpai Town was fair and that was the relationship with them, Dom expected that would change to At War very soon. He was however most shocked to see King Rameses II on the list, and wondered why someone from the Special Quest Map would be on the list.

"This is an office for our lead Diplomat." Dom stated, "Allowing us to track and cup up with any plans for our diplomatic relationships. We can also use this as a good area to meet diplomatic guests for out of the way conversations."

"A perfect office space for Lady Meritamen then." Shang Yang agreed.

Dom nodded his head in agreement, Shang Yang and Dom had agreed with Meritamen that she would take the place as the Diplomat for Riverside, as regardless of her situation or not situation with Dom, she was a valuable asset that they wanted to integrate in to the Riverside group.

"System, please roll for the next office." Dom asked.
