CHAPTER 014: Memory

Guide-sama: "What's funny?"

"That is a really funny phrase, you know. Get rid of her mother. Haha!"

Guide-sama: "I don't understand, what's so funny?"

"Woh!" She forced herself to stop laughing and tucked her hair strands behind her ears. She narrowed her eyes to the leaves dancing in the wind.

"You won't understand this Guide-sama but there are things that you can't get rid of on your own."

Guide-sama: "You mean, she can never get rid of Queen Eriela?"

"Let's stop talking about Jasmine." Yanarym licked her lips and chuckled, "Let's see, what will Eriela do to me? Now that she heard I died?"

Guide-sama: "She was about to send a low-ranking servant into this chamber room."

"Oh? Then?"

Guide-sama: "Queen Eriela wanted the servant to take the blame for your death. They are prepared to throw the dirty water at her."

With a nod of her head, Yanarym directed her gaze toward the space outside the room. Her feet dangled in the air, and she waited with bated breath, eagerly anticipating the events that were about to unfold.

The sky was cloudless today, the weather was great, the sun was not sweltering, and the wind was fine. The trees and leaves were giving it a chilliness and she could see some small animals running around in the lush garden.

Initially, Yanarym did not like this world. She did not like the fact that the main character was a man who had a harem and the fact that the supposed-to-be female lead was killed before the love story began.

She was biased when it came to her preferences.

The Original was an overly ambitious person, she dreamt so big but did nothing except isolate herself after losing everything.

Then, Yanarym found out that this world was another magical world. Superpowers and a variety of creatures existed here. Which was thrilling to witness. She got to know that the other characters were just so interesting to meet.

Three weeks of silently observing and learning how this world functions. From an objective perspective, this world was pretty cool. She made up her mind about what kind of persona she would be playing in this world.

The characteristic of the Original was so similar to Jasmine's. Deeply attached to people and things she treasures. They were obsessed. The obsession was just directed the wrong way.

Yanarym needed to die to correct the obsession the Original had.

"Where's the sacrifice now, Guide-sama?"

Guide-sama: "She's here."

"Greetings to the—kyah! Your Highness! What are you doing at the window?!" The woman exclaimed in panic. Yanarym leisurely turned her head to the maidservant who was running towards her, "Your H-h-highness, p-please step down from there."

"It's stuffy."

"P-pardon?"

"My room is stuffy," Yanarym spoke softly with a grin.

It was time for her new persona to meet the people of Seerian. This time, the Original 'did' die, and she came back to life and changed. Since that was the story that happened to Caius, the main character, she would steal even Crown Prince Caius's character progression.

The woman in a white mob cap, long black sleeves dress in the length of her ankles, a white apron draped over her torso and skirt. She was wearing black rubber shoes and long white socks.

A maid costume.

Yanarym paused for a second and keenly watched the woman.

'She is like a cosplayer,' Yanarym thought.

She had not been in interaction with people in the kingdom, she had no idea what they really looked like or how they represented themselves. She could see some illustrative paintings, but they were like a poster of a fantasy movie or something like that.

They all looked surreal.

Jasmine and Liezel would periodically visit her in the bedchamber to inflame the lethal incense and deliver her a delicious fatal meal, but she could not really see them. She had to pretend sick every time they were here. She was not pretending because she was extremely sick each time they came around.

The point was, she could barely open her eyes to see what those princesses looked like.

Although she had the super brain where she was able to remember all the things that happened to her vividly throughout her first life in her fifth world. It was different when it comes to the memories of the Originals, it was hard to recollect them.

She could see what their perspective of things was and what they could recall if they were alive at the moment. Meaning, Yanarym could remember the memories of the Originals like an ordinary person. It was as if she dwelt the life of the Original in those memories, however, the emotions they felt in those moments were excluded.

To elaborate further, a person would normally not be able to remember their past so clearly. Just like when you look at your phone, you will not really remember the percentage of the battery unless you were underlining it in your brain. The memories that Yanarym would always receive from the Originals were the same as that.

She could recall but not in extreme detail. The rumination that was shown to her was the highlighted scenarios that the Original could remember in her life. It was the core memories and was very biased.

Yanarym could only recall Queen Eulasha's blurring face and Caius's betrayal. Other than that, there was nothing more she could use to advance on her journey to becoming the King of this continent. The deeper Yanarym swooped into knowing this world the more she felt like it was getting harder and harder.

That convinced her that she was really on a difficult level.

The only memory that remained in her mind was a blurry image of Queen Eulasha and King Rashio, as well as every detail of her love story with Caius, from its inception to its tragic end.

In conclusion, memories that the Original had bestowed upon her were deemed insignificant and unhelpful.

Most of the recollection did not focus on the settings of the world.

Yanarym could only make a rough conception of how this kingdom operated, that was one of the main reasons why she had to study ten to five to ten books each night because she lacked too much knowledge.
