CHAPTER 22:

He was a tall guy with olive coloured skin. He had blonde long hair and some of it fell across his face. His misty blue eyes was one of his features that Luna found captivating. He was really cute. His facial expression totally changed when he heard what Luna said.

Seeing this, she tried to rectify her mistake. "Sorry, I thought you were someone else ".

And seemed to have worked because he started chuckling. Luna felt like leaving but she still found him cute. Wait who is this guy, "Hi, I'm Luna".

"Yeah I know", seeing her questioning gaze he started to elaborate more, " I'm in the same I.A.History class as you are".

"And you are?", she asked when she realised he still hadn't mentioned his name.

"Oh yeah, I'm Kevin ", he said extending his arms and she gladly shook it.

"Nice to meet you, Kevin. Soo, is there something you wanted to say", Luna said dragging the last sentence.

"Yeah I was just wandering if you would like to go get a smoothie together sometime like maybe today", he said, and the way he said it almost made Luna's heart melt. I said almost. Luna isn't a girl who is a total softie.

"I'd love to but I can't. But maybe next time ", she trying not to hurt such an innocent looking guy.

And it seemed to have worked, "Sure and nice to meet you again ", he said politely and left. And there was a gleam in his eyes that was too bright to not notice. He didn't seem to be bothered by the fact that she turned him down but he seemed rather happy after talking to her. She stood there lost in thought as stared at the retreating back of Kevin. She was snapped out of her thought by a guy who wolf-whistled at her. The guy was leaning on the cafeteria door. This one was a little brown-skinned with black hair and light brown eyes. And he seemed like a total playboy. "Hi baby, what's a pretty girl like you doing here all alone. Luna right, I'm Brandon. Why don't we ditch this cafeteria and go have some fun in the janitor's closet". Luna was about to go and answer him when someone pushed the cafeteria door that Brandon was leaning against from the inside. Making him stumble and almost falling down.

"What the fuck Luke, why did you do that ", Brandon said when he turned and saw who pushed the door.

"Just in case you haven't noticed, this is the cafeteria's door and not the door to your bedroom ", the named Luke shot back, making Luna chuckle.

"Hey hottie, what are you doing with a smoke show like him, why don't you come and hang out with me ", Luke said when his attention was caught by a chuckling Luna.

"Hey stay away from her, I saw her first ", and then both of them started arguing.

Luna just left them there to argue and entered the cafeteria angrily. She took her food and then scanned the crowd to find where Lovelyn was sitting. She finally spots her sitting with Blake, Cole and Mike and then walks angrily towards them.

"Hey Lovelyn, where is Luna", Cole asked since it's been since they came to sit there.

"Mmm...when did you start caring so much about her", Lovelyn asked teasingly.

"Yeah Cole, you're acting really sus' ", Blake says while stuffing his mouth with a sandwich, "Hey guys, have you noticed that the food in this cafeteria now tastes really good?".

"Yeah and the lunch ladies have all been replaces. The new ones look nice and professional ", Mike also asks while eating his mashed potatoes.

"Yeah now they serve different varieties of food ".

"Yeah duh", Lovelyn says rolling her eyes.

"Wait, what do you mean duh", Mike asks, and by the looks on everyone's faces, it looks like they all had the same question.

"Okay I'll explain, Luna's dad hired all those people to work here ", Lovelyn says rolling her eyes. It made sense though.

"Hey Lovelyn, I have a question ", Cole said while eating his fries, "why does a rich girl like Luna go to a public school. I know my mom's the senator of Springfield but I still go here. But for me its because this is where my kind of people are. But what about her. Why does she-", Cole gets cut off by the sound of someone not so gently hitting their tray on the table.

They whip their heads to who it was. And it is no one other than Luna. And she looked really angry. Lovelyn couldn't help but ask, "Lui what's wrong with you? Why do you look so angry ".

Seeing only Lovelyn she starts complaining. "You what Lovey, boys are the stupidest creatures in this world ".

"Lui-", Lovelyn tries to tell her something but she gets cut off by Luna, "No Lovey, it's the truth. They are the stupidest, uncivilised, most foolish races of human beings in this. I wonder who created them. And what they were thinking were they created them. They are so foolish- ".

"Mhmm",Luna gets interrupted by someone clearing their throat, she raises her head then suddenly regrets saying that. She had not seen Cole, Mike and Blake sitting in front of her. Blake goes to say something but she beats him to it.

"I'm sorry guys, I was just really angry that's why I said all that stuff ".

"Why are you so angry anyway ", Blake asks.

"It's just frustrating on how I can't walk a meter without being bothered by a boy", Luna starts to recount everything that had happened on her way to the cafeteria.

"Well what were you expecting when you are the hottest girl in this school".

After calming Luna down a bit they ate their food and left for their next classes. After lunch, the day went by pretty fast. And finally Luna got home. Took a bath, ate her dinner, chatted with Aunt Li a bit and then went to bed.
