I'm gonna die!

It took a few minutes, a half hour, but I was freed from the grip Saya held me with. Sure the guy was nice and all, but good god was I bored out of my skull. They even got into a discussion about SOMETHING, and I was close to just knocking myself out to avoid the trouble.

Thankfully, it didn't come to that. Saya shooed me out of the lab after my time was up, and I left without looking back.

With my newfound freedom, I walked around for a bit, and I didn't really know what to do. But then the cosmic gods gave me something to do. My scroll started ringing, and I found out it was Yin. "Hey kid, what's up?"

~They sky.~

"I'm hanging up."

~DON'T!~ I snorted at that.

"Then spill, what's got ya calling?"

~Well...I did the whole 'I'm a Werewolf now, and I can turn you into Werewolves too' thing...~

"Go on."

~Um... Ruby woke up in like, a half hour after I bit her... And she's running around all over the place as a super wolf with her semblance. Dad and Yang are still out of it, and she hasn't listened to me at all... I need help.~ I couldn't help it. I started laughing my ass off at the image of a little black and red wolf running all over the place and avoiding Yin. ~DON'T LAUGH AT MY PAIN YOU ASSHOLE!~ I laughed even harder at that.

It took a minute or two, but after I was done, I let out a good breath from that.

"Fucking hell that was great."

~Yeah yeah, my suffering is for the entertainment of others. Now help me!~

"Hah... Have you tried bribing her with cookies?"

~One, we can still eat chocolate safely?~ That reminded me of the time I ate some chocolate pudding and Shizuka almost lost it. The following laughing fit got on her nerves, and I just kept going till I got it all out.

"Yes we can still eat chocolate without consequence Yin. Didn't you see us snacking on some while we were there?"

~Didn't really register it. Anyway, two. WE DON'T HAVE ANYMORE! She devoured them as soon as I lost track of her. I swear, it was like she was starved for months.~

"Oh... Well you're kinda screwed now aren't you?"

~Oh gee, what a magnificent summary of my situation. Any other words of wisdom you may have for me oh king?~

"Wow... For someone scared stiff the first time I met you, you've gotten awfully sarcastic now haven't you kid?"

~Again, you were a fucking DLC raid boss that showed up in my starting world. Even with Gamer's Mind, that's way too fucking much of a spike to NOT be afraid.~

"... Kinda like DxD huh?" I knew how much she outright hated that.

~Don't even get me started on that again! Li...- Wait, back up. Help me with Ruby first, THEN we can talk about bullshit scaling.~ Eh. That was fine with me.

"Have you tried bribing her with going to BUY cookies if she stays in one place?" Yin was silent for a few seconds, then I heard her curse.

~RUBY! IF YOU STAY STILL WE'LL GO GRAB SOME OF THE COOKIES WITH CREAM IN THEM!~ I heard a surprised bark, and a sudden sound of something colliding. ~Finally! Now shift back, and go get your purse.~ Another bark, a Ruby squeal, and the sound of running feet. ~Thank the gods. Anyway, that was all I needed. Thanks old man.~

"Tch. Only calling when you need something. What am I, your dad?" Yin started choking after that.

~Good gods no! I'd rather shoot myself in the tits then even think about calling you 'daddy' ugh. Even saying that makes me wanna hurl.~

"Uhuh. I could always bring it up to one of my girlfriends and just have one of them say it. Rika would probably do it the second I tell her." More choking from Yin, and I laughed my ass off.

~Fucking immature bastard. Anyway, since you think I'm an ungrateful child, I don't mind talking while Ruby and I go get cookies.~

"Nice... Actually, do they know?"

~Bout the Gamer?~

"No, the fleas."

~... Touche asshole. And yeah. They cared more about the whole Werewolf thing then the Gamer stuff or being from an anime.~

"... Weird but ok."

~You're telling me. Anyway, Ruby won't get... Alot of what we say if we talk about anime, but I'll fill her in on it later.~

"That works. Anyway, gimme a minute, I smell Ironwood coming." And I did. So in true Muzaka fashion, I booked it. I jumped out the nearest window, made some aura platforms, and went to the roof. "Alright I...-" Something moved. I couldn't detect Salem's Seer's, they were not only invisible, had no scent, but they hardly moved so I couldn't figure out if they were there or not. But with Yin telling me about them before, I tried to keep my eyes sharp and focus my ears in case there WAS movement.

And right now, I heard the wind slowly shift around somewhere. If I didn't know Salem was watching me, I might've missed it.

But I didn't.

Trusting my gut, I brought out the claws of my free hand, coated them in aura, and swung in the general direction of the movement. My aura claws flew, and after a second, I heard this ungodly screech.

-SCRAAAAAA-

"~FUCK!/JESUS!~" The damn thing sounded like someone gave Sindel a megaphone, and powered her shout through a speaker. I was pretty sure my scroll cracked a little bit, and my ears started to bleed at one point, but they healed a second later. It didn't seem like anyone else noticed, my girls probably did, since there weren't any people scrambling around like ants.

~WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!~

"... I think I just killed a Seer. Fucking thing was spying on me."

~Ah... Well that's a problem. What're you gonna do about it?~

"... I've got an idea. Though I'll save it for when we're going to leave."

~Tch. Fine, keep your secrets... Actually, when are yo...- Ruby, grab that fo...- Thanks. Anyway, when are you leaving anyway?~

"Depends on how long Saya takes to look at the knights, other tech and shit like that. I'm bringing Saeko to the Grimmlands at some point so she can go crazy, Shizuka is fine to go whenever, and Rika is fine so long as she gets to shoot something."

~Huh...Where ARE you going next?~

"Danmachi."

~... Really? Why?~

"It'll be perfect for them. The dungeon's full of monsters we'll eventually meet as we travel. Sure they might not ALL be similar, but they'll have enough of a resemblance for whatever they learn there, to apply for the future. I can also eat a bunch of things and get my semblance to help me out. That, and I want to see what's down there."

~Huh... Sounds cool enough...-

What kind of dungeon?

- Huh? Oh. Think of a big tower with a massive dungeon under it... Kinda like that one game Yang walked in on you playing...-

-Yeah, that... Anyway, gonna join a Familia then?~

"Probably. It's how they'd gain power in that world... And I'm tempted to fuck with things."

~... Should I blacklist the world of Danmachi?~

"Nah. Things shouldn't get that bad."

~... The fact that you're expecting things to go bad is telling... Anyway, who're you joining? Gonna go with Hestia because plot?~

"I think, yeah. They get involved in all the trouble, so I won't have to go looking for it. That and I want to try curbing her Bell obsession."

~Really? Why?~

"Yin... Do you remember how old Bell is?"

~Uh... No?~

"Bell is 14."

~Oh... Oh yikes. Now I feel like a predator for finding him cute.~

"Exactly. Try imagining Ruby in that situation. It's weird. Now sure they're some good girls in that race, but again, he's 14. I think Eina's in her 20's? I don't remember. And then when you count Hestia? For as much as she acts like a normal person, she's got god age to factor in. That's like, SUPER cradle robbing." I was technically not a hypocrite here, but I would've called her out on it if she said I was.

~I guess that makes sense. What about the girls?~

"Not sure. Shizuka probably wouldn't care. I doubt Rika would either. Though Saeko and Saya might be a different story. Saeko will join Hestia's familia if I tell her too, but I'm not gonna do that. I've got an idea about introducing her to Takemikazuchi's familia, or to Loki's. Take himself is a god of war, so he's bound to have experience with swordsmanship. What better teacher then a god of war? Other then Kratos. And Loki's got a bunch of talented people in her familia, specifically their 'sword princess.' They'd be enough to challenge Saeko.

Then for Saya, I'm not sure. I have an idea about making a deal with Hephaestus, or just introducing her to Miach. Both of those fields could be something she'd be interested in, but I haven't asked them about it yet. So I'm not sure about where they'd like to go."

~Not gonna try Freya or Ishtar huh? They too much for the all mighty Werewolf king?..-

Who're they?

-Oh uh, goddesses. Not capital G like the brother Gods, but still goddesses...-

Whoa... But what do they do? Do they have domains like the Brother Gods?

-Well they uh... Yeah, don't worry about what they're goddesses of Ruby.~ I snorted at not only her tone, but those names. The side conversation was also amusing.

"Bitch please. Freya's a fucking freak I'd rather leave in a room with Saeko then go anywhere near. She'll probably try something for me or the girls, but I'll handle it. Then Ishtar? That crazy whore could choke on it. I'm ready to drop a 'The One True Wolf' on either of them if they try to fuck with me and mine."

~LANGUAGE! Don't listen to him Ruby!~ I heard Ruby mumbling about 'being old enough,' as Yin spoke, and I just laughed some more. After that, Yin and I spoke for a few more minutes, and eventually we finished our conversation

With that done, I looked out, saw the sun was going to start setting, and decided to just head back in.

Going in was interesting. No one seemed to notice the Seer's death throes, and I didn't bring it up to any of the soldier guys I passed. Now, I COULD tell them, but I just didn't care enough to do so. (Besides, Yin's got this.) With those thoughts in mind, I walked through the place, and eventually found Rika, talking to Winter in a cafeteria.

I didn't see Shizuka anywhere, though she was probably somewhere. Rika noticed me coming, and waved me over. I sat next to her, and wrapped an arm around her waist. Rika leaned into me as I did, and we took in the others warmth. "Hey short stack, I miss anything?" She rolled her eyes at that.

"I should be asking YOU that. What the hell was that fucking screech I heard?! Fucking thing hurt like a bitch." So they did hear it.

"Oh you know, the wicked witch of the west spying on lil ol me." Rika raised a brow at that, and Winter froze. We were at our own table, and far enough for people to not hear us, so I had no reason to keep the fact Salem was watching me a secret.

"Wasn't that the Salem bitch?"

"Yup. Seer fucker was floating around, stalking me and shit."

"Huh... Anyway, now what?"

"Dunno. Just waiting for Saya to have her fun, then we can go fuck with her." Rika nodded at that, and went back to eating her food. Winter however, she was a different story. She was just staring at me, and after a few seconds, she got up.

"I need to inform the general." And then she left. Rika and I shared a look, and shrugged.

"By the way. Where's Shizuka?" Rika started to take out her scroll, and after opening it, passed it to me, with a conversation open.

R.M - You're what?

S.M - I'm going with Saeko to watch her play!

R.M - Play... Sure. That's what she does. Where's the place she's going to play at?

S.M - The big collisuem place.

R.M - Coliseum. And ok. Taking your fuck off stick?

S.M - Yup! Boomstick is the best thing since Silver!

R.M - Uhuh. My Triple Tap is still better. Anyway, have fun.

S.M - I will! Talk to you later Rika. Love yooooou!

R.M - Yeah yeah, love you too.

"Huh, that explains it. And 'fuck off stick' really?" After swallowing her snack, Rika just deadpanned at me.

"Silver. It's a goddamn rocket hammer. If that isn't a fuck off stick, then I don't know what is." She had a point.

"Whatever. So, before I check up on them, anything you wanna talk about sealgair?" Rika hummed, finished up her snack, and rested her head on my shoulder.

"Dunno. There's some cool stuff to shoot here, but it's kinda getting repetitive. Back at Patch, I could swear there was this one little Nevermore I killed that just kept coming back the next day to spite me. That, or it was that Salem bitch. I haven't had fun things to do in a while. But either way, I haven't gotten to shoot a dragon in a month! The Teryx are routine now. I'm kinda getting bored." Ah. The same issue I had back in HOTD.

"Well, want a little hint on where we'll go next?" That perked her right up.

"Hm? Not putting it to a vote? What happened to democracy?" I snorted at that.

"A zombie apocalypse." Now it was her turn to snort. We shared a little laugh after that, but collected ourselves after a second or two.

"Right right. Anyway, lay it on me Silver." Time for the simplest but also most amusing way to bring up our next world.

"Well, ever wanted to meet some gods?" The way Rika froze, and just looked at me made me burst out laughing.

"You're fucking with me, right?"

"Nope." Giving the 'p' extra attention, I watched Rika's face. Rika's gaze was trying to bore into me, but I held it, and smirked as she just hit her hit on the table.

"Alright. I guess that's the thing... What do I get to shoot again?" Hm... There was a lot to answer with here.

"Well I KNOW you'll get to shoot dragons. So no worrying about that."

"Oh. That's fine then." Welp, that was easy.

Rika and I talked for a bit more, and after a bit, I left. She wanted to chill some more, so she decided to drop by Saya's lab and see what she was doing. I just left the place, saw it was starting to get dark out, and went off to the coliseum.

Though I did take in the sights some more. I didn't really care about looking around earlier, but Atlas itself was an interesting place to be in. It was all techy, clean, and just cool in general... (I blame Yang for that.) Pun aside, Atlas was nice.

After some more walking, I ended up in the coliseum. And damn was it nice. It was kind of like a more futuristic version of the Roman one. Walking into it, I just followed my nose, and walked towards Saeko and Shizuka's scents.

A few minutes of that, and I'm looking at Saeko fighting all of the Ace ops, a squadron of knights... "Is that a fucking Paladin?" It had to be. There was a fucking Paladin in the arena, and I just stared at it. I was a Werewolf capable of blowing up Atlas with a single attack... "But mechs are and always will be cool."

"Right? I wonder if I can get one to play with too." Shizuka was in a stand above me, hammer in her lap, and just watching the whole thing go down. I jumped over the wall, and landed in the seat right next to her. She immediately latched onto my side, and nuzzles into my shoulder.

"I don't think they'll just let you have a weapon of moderate destruction just to play with." I don't know why she started pouting at me, it wasn't like I'd 'threaten' Ironwood for a paladin. That sounded like something she'd have to ask Saya to do.

"But Saeko gets to play with one!" We both looked at Saeko and her 'play' with said paladin. She was still in her base form, but she was coating her legs and blade in her aura, a way I told and taught them about when Saeko and Saya got into the mid stage of intermediate. She was dancing around the paladin, and since it wasn't alive, she had this cold and calculating look in her eyes. Sure, Saeko was a sadist, battle maniac, and all that. But when it came to REALLY serious fights, or fighting un-living opponents? She was a predator. She'd think through the best ways to strike, and how to end the battle quickly.

Like now. She was compressing the aura on her blade, and when it looked like her sword had an almost metallic shine from her aura, almost like armament haki, she ran and slid underneath the paladin, and cut off one of its legs. With its leg down, she quickly spun to face it, crouched lower to the ground, and kicked off towards it, sword in both hands and ready to cleave the paladin in two.

It was on auto pilot, so she wasn't killing anyone if she did that.

And just like I expected, she cleaved the thing in half, and did the fucking anime thing where it split after she re-sheathed her blade. (That's always cool as shit. Maybe I should record her doing that and sell it off sometimes.) Thoughts for later.

With that done, Saeko dropped her aura armor, and looked around the rest of the field. Though as she did, I went back to thinking.

Ever since I unlocked their auras, Saeko's been trying to get a full body coating, kind of like how Remnants aura is passively, but with an active effect. Saya could do it, since she had an aura affinity, but Saeko wanted to do it too. And she didn't want to stop there. The idea of aura armor, which she could shape to her whim, grew on her.

Shizuka and Rika couldn't do that though. Shizuka because out of EVERYONE, she had the worst aura control. The best she could do was coat her arms in it for a bit, then unleash it in a go. Sure she could do the things like slashes and coating, but she couldn't hold it for more then five minutes.

Rika just couldn't do it because of her specialized nature. Though she didn't let that get to her. She took the idea of Yin's use of Summon Swords, and worked to making a fucking Gate of Babylon. She could create aura bullets around her, make them rotate around herself like Yin's skill, stock up on them and just make a fuckton of aura bullets. Which she could enlarge and rotate at will mind you, and shoot them off like they came from one of Gil's gates. It was fucking terrifying. Sure she'd run on half if she did more then thirty supercharged shots at a time, which said alot when you remember she's a stamina type, but it was the principle of the thing!

Anyway, back to Saeko.

Saeko was still working on the aura armor, but even while it was incomplete, she was still getting a boost from it. If she focused it on her legs, like now, she'd get a boost to her speed, obviously. The boost wasn't THAT crazy, it was a 1.5x multiplier when we asked Yin, but it was a proof of concept. I was pretty sure the stat boosts came from having Remnant's aura mixed with our natural one, but I wasn't TOO sure.

Saya's gave her double stats, but mine was better. Though it came at a cost. If I REALLY wanted to make and keep aura armor up, then I'D NEED to focus solely on that. For some reason, I couldn't use my aura attacks, except 'The One True Wolf.' It was a weird limitation, and one I had no idea where it came from.

But if the armor was ever broken, it would take a MASSIVE chunk out of our reserves. For me, I'd lose 60% of my reserves if the full suit of aura armor I made was destroyed. Sure we could still use our Werewolf aura, but it'd be at normal power instead of the boost we got from Remnant's aura.

Getting their aura awakened may have given them an easier way to use their natural version of it, but they'd still need to train for their own special moves. The armor wasn't Saya's style, but she learned how to do it just because it would be good to know.

Saeko was going the enhancer armor route, I think, so she'd probably try to perfect it. It made sense. She was still a samurai after all.

Rika was working on her Gate of Babylon variant. The bullshit that it was.

And Shizuka was Shizuka. She'd fight if she felt like it, and punch people through walls and or buildings if she chose to do so. For being a nurse, Shizuka didn't mind beating the shit out of someone or thing. Though she didn't really know what to do for a special move or anything. She was more of a 'go big, then go BOOM' person.

(Unless they get a semblance that jumpstarts their progress on that front. Though, if that happened I'd just feel annoyed as fuck.) None of them found their semblances yet, though they'd find them eventually... Wait a minute. Looking at the Ace ops, who hadn't been fighting Saeko as she took on the paladin, I couldn't see any visible wounds on them, but they seemed to be curled up in pain for some reason.

"... Why are they acting like babies? She didn't cut them up that badly, right?" Shizuka hummed at that, and just shrugged.

"Maybe they aren't as good as they think they are?" The fact she said that, with genuine curiosity, just made it all the worse in my opinion.

"Well, could just ask."

"But that takes out the fun of guessing! We could have a guessing game!"

"I mean... We COULD. But again. We could just ASK."

"Guess!"

"Ask."

"Guess!"

"Ask."

"I wouldn't mind answering for my lord." I didn't notice when Saeko came up, but when she did, she sat by my other side, and leaned into me. I wrapped my other arm around her shoulders, and I now had the both of them by my sides.

"And I'd be happy if you told us what it was. It's probably a semblance, since that's the literal ONLY answer, but that's all I got." Saeko hummed, and Shizuka pouted as she poked my cheeks.

"Cheater. Silver's a cheating cheater of cheatingness." Saeko and I shared a laugh at that, but Shizuka wasn't really mad or annoyed at it. Especially after a quick peck to the dome. The easiest of my girlfriends to please by far.

"Anyway, what's your semblance mo lann?" The grin that made its way onto Saeko's face was nothing BUT malevolent. That just piqued my curiosity more.

"I'm thinking of calling it Lingchi." Shizuka and I blinked at that. I didn't get reference. "Death by a thousand cuts my lord." Ah... Wait a minute. I looked back to the Ace ops, made sure there weren't any visible wounds, and turned back to Saeko.

"Is it what I think it is?" Somehow, her grin just raised a stage in malevolence.

"Any time I hit something I consider an 'enemy' it will feel phantom pain equal to the force of the strike. There's also a second component to it. If I slashed with the power to cut a gash into an enemy, and actually DO harm them, then they will also feel twice the pain." Simple... But terrifying.

"How the hell did you manifest that?" Saeko hummed, and waved a hand in the direction of the Ace ops.

"I wanted them to hurt, but I couldn't kill or have 'fun' with them. It was in the midst of my annoyance at not being able to truly hurt them that I felt something click into place. And then I felt it. I knew how to make them hurt without truly hurting them... But to them, they feel the pain none the less. These semblance's are truly a wonderful thing." Huh...

"That's kind of hot. Right Silver?" Saeko and I blinked, and turned to Shizuka. I wasn't sure if I'd ever get used to Shizuka and her Shizuka-ness, but for this, she kind of had a point. I was already warped, so the image of Saeko standing over people with a evil ass grin on her face wasn't scary in my mind anymore.

"I mean, you're right. Though I'm starting to worry about whoever she uses it on now." Saeko and Shizuka hummed at the confirmation, and I just sighed. "Yes you're free to use that on me the next time we train." Saeko hugged my side, and gave my neck a happy nibble for that. Then Shizuka started to nibble on me because she felt left out, and I sighed again.

Then my scroll started ringing. Prying an arm out of Saeko's embrace, I checked out who it was, and saw it was Saya. (Huh. Wonder what she wants.) I picked it up, and Saya didn't even let me say a word.

~Zaka, Ironwood hasn't stopped bugging me about you for the past hour! Go do your kingly duties and talk to guy so I can...-

Hey Saya, gonna tell him about that little wand you made?

- No I'm not telling him that! It's not even a wand so what are you even talking ab... -

You sureee? It's a really nice little thing. Got a good little shock and everything.

- I will SHOOT YOU RIKA!..- Anyway get ove...

Really? Not gonna whip me first?

- NO!.. GET BACK HERE AND GET THIS WOMAN AWAY FROM ME!~ Then she hung up. The three of us just stared at my scroll, and I just kept the confused look on my face as we did.

"Let's just... Go." They both nodded to that, and we left the arena. The Ace ops were still groaning in pain, but oh well, they'd manage.

Going back to the lab building was easy, and it gave us time to talk some more. Saeko was happy with her semblance, Shizuka was curious about hers, and we started guessing about what it could be. Saeko and I had a bet about whether it would be a single target heal, like Jaune's, or an AoE heal.

Both were good options, but we just had to wait for Shizuka to get her semblance to find out.

We kept talking, and only stopped when we made it back to the lab... Where Ironwood was waiting for me by the front door. I just sighed, and unhooked my arms from my girlfriend's, and walked over to him. "I'm not getting out of this am I?" Ironwood just scoffed, and shook his head.

"No you will not. There's still much to talk about, and we'll need your input for some of it." I groaned and started considering just dragging Saya away, dealing a hit to Salem, and then fucking off after I was done with my restrictions.

"Ugh. Fine, but after this, I'm not talking anymore then I want. We good on that?" A nod, and we started going back to Ironwood's office. This was going to be an annoyance. I couldn't even get out of this since he could then nag Saya again, and then she'd get me to talk to them... It was weakness, but one I could just obliterate anyone who exploited it.

Too bad I couldn't do that to Ironwood. (I could, but he hasn't given me a reason to wipe Atlas off the face of Remnant... Being a good person kinda sucks.)

So I followed the guy in, after hearing my girls say they'd go check in with Saya, and just accepted that I'd be annoyed for however long it took for me to distract them from me. (Ugh... This is going to be annoying.)

[Omake - Best. Day. EVER! Ruby's POV after waking up.]

Waking up was weird. Not a bad weird, but a weird weird. It was kind of like getting my semblance again, but WAY cooler. I could hear and smell so much more, I had new things to test out, a cool form to use, and I could become a wolf! I could play with Zwei in new ways now! (Wait a minute... Does that mean Blake's gonna be scared of me now? I'm technically a dog...) Things to figure out later!

"Hey Ruby, how're you feeling?" We were all in the livingroom, Yin didn't want us out of her sight during the whole thing, but that was fine.

"I'm fine Yin. I'm better then fine actually!" Which was true! I could just TELL I was stronger. And it was like Yin said earlier. My aura felt different... Fuller, if that was even a thing, and I couldn't wait to test it out!

Yin let out the 'thank gods' sigh, and turned back to the front door. She was watching for something, just didn't know what.

"That's good. There's some food on the counter. I didn't know how long you all would be out, so I whipped up some sandwiches." Ou! I WAS hungry, so that'd be awesome.

"Thanks Yin!" I got off the couch, ran over to the kitchen, and spotted my sandwiches in a container marked for me. But when I was about to grab it, I stopped. (We still have some cookies... Right?) I was pretty sure we did, so making sure Yin wasn't paying attention to me, I tip toed to the cookies, they were in the cabinet by the fridge, and took a bite.

AND IT WAS AN EXPLOSION OF FLAVOR! SO MUCH CHOCOLATY GOODNESS! I munched on all the cookies we had, and it felt awesome! I couldn't help it, I started zipping around with my semblance, and I even flew passed Yin, going outside through a window. It was like I was on a sugar high!

Then I transformed into a wolf at one point, and I realized another awesome thing. (I can use my semblance like this!? YES!) I ran with my semblance, and my cool new form, and enjoyed the best sugar rush of my life!
