Chapter 7

When Arc left, his Gramps immediately asked Jane, " So? What do you think of him? hmm? ", blushing, she turned her head sideward and said, " Umm uncle grandpa? Who is he exactly? And umm... answering your question, umm.. he is kinda cute." blushing even more.

After hearing her thoughts about his grandson, he is even more eager to make them a much.

"Say, if I were to get you a man what will be your ideal man? Or who will be this man?"

"Umm uncle grandpa? I prefer him to be Arc" she answered.

Delighted by her answer, he smiled very wide.

*****************Arc's side******************

"it's so boring here" Arc mumbled.

Hearing this remark from someone, Samantha raised her head to see who mumbled those words and to her surprised, she saw the man who she saw right after she entered the banquet.

" if you're bored then get out of here " she mumbled too. Arc heard her and face her. As he turned to see who replied at his remark, he was greeted by a woman's bored look into him.

"oh! time's up." she stood up and about to leave but was held back by someone.

"where are you going" Arc said, holding her hand as he had stopped her.

Rolling her eyes, " I'm leaving now so I'll be going now"

"to where?" he asked again.

"Since you're a stranger, it is none of your business! So please let go of my hand." she retorted.

"Well, my name is Arcanum but you can call me Arc. Can I come with you? It looks like you're about to leave here so can I come with you?"

Before she could answer him, a woman appeared behind him and said "You're leaving? Samantha you're the daughter of the host here and you're leaving? I can't believe you!" exaggeratedly.

"yes so please if you don't mind Mother Sheila I'm leaving"

"No you are not going anywhere"

"really? try me."

"ugh! you stubborn child!"

"I'll go with her" Arc said, stopping them to argue.

"what?" they said in unison.

"I said I'll accompany her to but I need to do something first." he replied and walked to where his grandpa is.

"Grandpa I'll go somewhere with a friend"

"oh? you have a friend already?let me meet that friend of yours hehehe!" his grandpa said

"ah you can't meet her yet"

"her? what do you mean her?"

"anyway Grandpa I'll be going now"

"okay fine take this. Call me when you need a ride later I'll ask someone to pick you up wherever you might be later."

"thank you Gramps. You're the best" hugging him and returned to Samantha And Sheila' s place.
