If I take Orion by taking all the genetic many races he is basically a Super Soldier that the previous civilization expected in perfect version but I consider again especially the evolution thing.

Abyssal hunter had high physical strength, endurance, and speed. they maybe alter and genetically fuse the seaborn trait that is nourishment to adapt and evolve the physical trait Aegir had, their Skeletal muscle cells genetic fuse is the reason they have that superhuman feat but if the implant is still have a flaw.

Negative Mutation will appear eventually taking them slowly as reference of Zombification virus. the experimentation not turn them into truest super soldier rather abomination slowly but surely, More evolve and adapt the cell fusion supposedly give them superior awareness turn into lack of awareness for their surroundings, gaining superior mind to respond speed thinking and judgment become burden to brain function making them easy to loss of consciousness, while the their skin supposedly easy to adapt environment now full of Seaborn scales occupying their bodies.

As expected, the failure of the manipulation of the path of evolution was quite disappointing especially in one important point. Seaborns cannot be used as a solution to improve the evolution of a race because they are counted in the "Root".

if we take the logic of science, Seaborn is a root of natural evolution while Genetical is also a root of natural evolution. in their Scheme of evolution pathway.

If experimented in this case, Seaborn does not have an evolutionary path because they need to be called assimilation of an individual, so in this case Seaborn needs an evolutionary path while Genetic already has an evolutionary path.
