Chapter 19 Monster Woman

Sisi Liu gave him an address that wasn't too far away.

In about half an hour, Li Jing arrived at the location.

This was his first time visiting Sisi Liu's place.

Standing outside the compound, Li Jing couldn't help but admire.

Li Jing responded through the intercom.

Before his voice had even fallen, the door opened.

A well-dressed Sisi Liu, greeted him with a smile.

"You got here pretty fast. I was thinking I'd have time to blow-dry my hair and look a bit nicer. I hope you don't mind seeing me like this?"

"We're just going for a meal, you don't need to fuss."

Li Jing chuckled and replied.

"Moreover, you look beautiful no matter what, Sisi. What's there for me to mind?"

"Oh?!"

Sisi Liu raised her eyebrows.

"It's only been two days without seeing you, and you're already this sweet with your words?"

"This isn't about me being sweet, I'm just stating the facts."

Li Jing replied smoothly.

"Have you decided what you want to eat?"

"Hotpot."

Sisi Liu, closing the door behind her, replied.

"There's a newly opened hot pot restaurant near the compound that's offering discounts. Let's go there."

After a while, they both left the apartment complex.

The hot pot restaurant Sisi Liu fancied was just two blocks away from the compound.

Just as they were about to enter, Li Jing spotted an attractive woman behind the counter.

The woman had a delicate face.

To be accurate,

she was bewitching.

Dressed in a figure-hugging qipao, her body was tantalising.

There might be human-shaped demons that intentionally harm humans,

but intelligent humanoid demons aren't stupid, they understand they need to hide their primitive instincts if they want to survive in human society and act like "good citizens".

Upon Li Jing and Sisi Liu's entrance, a waitress immediately came to greet them.

"How many are you, please?"

"Just us two."

Liu Sisi responded with a smile.

"Please follow me," said the waitress as she turned to lead them to their table.

As Liu Sisi followed, she pinched Li Jing discreetly, muttering in a voice only they could hear.

"Are you kidding me? You were complimenting me earlier, and now you can't take your eyes off that beauty? Have some respect when we're out!"

Caught off guard, Li Jing chuckled awkwardly, diverting his gaze from the woman by the counter.

Playing the role, he had to commit.

The woman at the counter was indeed rather unsettling.

If one were to refer to Stinky Tofu 3267's Health Bar as the standard, one could say that non-human creatures have about 1500 points per Cultivation level.

Hence it could be inferred that the woman at the counter was roughly in the middle stage of the Three Realm.

However, Li Jing wasn't actually scared.

Seeing his eager-to-please attitude, Liu Sisi couldn't help but chuckle. She took the phone, scanned the ordering code on the corner of the table and took a glance at the woman at the counter.

"The owner of this restaurant is indeed eye-catching. Her picture is even on the cover of this restaurant's Reviews App, it has attracted a lot of customers just for a glimpse of her beauty."

The woman at the counter was the owner of the hot pot restaurant?

Li Jing turned his head in surprise before turning back to lower his voice.

"Sisi, do you know her name?"

"This is my first time here, how could I possibly know her name?"

Liu Sisi rolled her eyes and feigned sadness.

"Are you really that interested in her? Is there something wrong with your boss at home? Are you fancying someone else's woman?"

Upon hearing his words, Liu Sisi burst into laughter, rolled her eyes at him and got on with placing the order.
