She hated him

"I... am..." She said. She is very nervous now, she never faced this kind of situation ever before where someone is in full conscience but still chooses to get close to her.

Her breath started getting lighter.  After getting so close to him, her mind was totally stopped. At first she did not know what to do with it. By the time she found out, he was already taking his breath from her hair deeply. 

She knows that she needs to stop him but she couldn't. All she was doing was laying down like a lifeless body. 

"Grrrrr..." After a minute her stomach finally complained. Of course it will, she hasn't eaten a single grain since morning and it's already night.

He rose up and looked at her. He couldn't help but curse himself for being this idiot. What was he even trying to do right there. He can see that he kind of scared her somehow. He immediately got up and sat straight.

"Sorry I... took breath to calm myself... I.."

"Ohh I know, I must have startled you by pulling that way. I am sorry..."

"No it's alright. It wasn't your fault. I wasn't paying attention while I was... I was... standing... Right!" He said and got up from her bed. "I will bring your dinner wait here."

"Yeah."

"Don't you find this situation very amusing?" She was all smiley after eating her full stomach dinner finally.

Soham was sitting on the couch of her room. "Amusing? How?" He asked while checking out the medicine she need to have after dinner 

"Last night we both would never have thought that both of us will be together at this time, in this way and also because of this." She while pointing her finger towards her back.

He didn't reply and let her continue. 

"You know if the same thing had happened a week ago, I would have never let you come near me.  but now, things are totally different. Strange na?"

His smile that he was holding on his lips got stiff by her statement. The way she said that she won't let him near her even, was something hurtful for him and was with full confidence. 

'Does she hated him that much?' He smiled forcefully and asked "Was I that bad in your eyes?"

She almost scoffed by his question "Bad? It's not that you were bad, it just you were nothing to me earlier. But that article directly made you someone I should hate directly. 

Remember when I said that I would never see your face?" He nodded slightly. That was one of the most hurtful things she said to him that day. Though he thought that he deserves it and it must not be a big deal for him, he wasn't able to sleep a wink that day.

She pursed her lips and said "I meant it."

When he heard her, it sounded worse to him. If he hadn't done the assignment thing and didn't tell her the truth would they be apart by now like a stranger? He couldn't think of anything extra. Hearing her calling him a stranger was one of the worst things again. That moment he decided one thing, he will never lie to her in future ever again.

He smiled lightly, gave her the pill and water in her hand, and went out of her room. "Take the pill and sleep, I am leaving the door open, shout at me if you need something." He didn't even look back. He just couldn't help but think of the stranger part of her talk.

Soham was lying on his bed with eyes open. He was staring at the door continuously. He himself did not know that this day would also come in his life. 

He himself helped a girl with this much gentleness and care?

Whatever the reason is, he is very much happy with it. At the moment he wants this, and this all matters to him.

Next morning

Soham went to her room. The door was open as he left last night.

"Serene." He knocked once and got in. She was still asleep without any care of the world. He looked at her sleeping face and got attracted to her. He went closer to her and shook her shoulder slightly "Serene wake up"
