Why A Dimensional Chat Group?

In contemporary Japan, Yuu Tachibana lives a seemingly ordinary life with his beloved family. However, Yuu harbors a secret: he has lived a past life in another world, making his current life his second. Having no one to call family in his previous life, Yuu cherishes his family all the more. One fateful night, Yuu discovers an unidentified phone in his room. The message displayed on its screen is cryptic and foreboding: [Do you want to save your family from their terrible fate?] With a sense of dread, Yuu is faced with a choice: [Yes] or [No]. Yuu must decide if he is willing to risk everything to protect his loved ones. Will he choose to save them, or let fate run its course? -------- So, before you jump into the fic, let me address the frustration of some readers, This fic is slow. The Dimensional Chat Group, is not given to the MC in the first or fifth chapter. No, no! Not even in 8 chapter, It decides to make a fashionable entrance in chapter 11. And we don't even get to fully explore it until chapter 15. Isn't that just great? The delay in the chat group's appearance seems to be a point of confusion for many readers. While the chat group is indeed a central aspect of the story, it's important to understand why the MC would use this unknown and potentially dangerous power. If the MC is reckless or unintelligent, the chat group's usage might begin in the first chapter. However, if the MC is depicted as a self-proclaimed genius or cautious individual, the story will reach the point of the chat group's involvement by chapter 3 at the latest, followed by a mission. In the initial 8 to 9 chapters, we get a glimpse into the MC's ordinary existence. He leads a regular life, surrounded by his loving family. He attends school, where he has a small circle of friends. Financially speaking, his family doesn't face any difficulties or hardships. And he is content with this simple, everyday life. Now, you might be wondering, why on earth would a person like our MC take a risk with the Chat Group? Hear me out. He's not some thrill-seeker, or a martial arts enthusiast looking for stronger opponents, nor is he a genius bored out of his mind. He's content with his life, and he doesn't crave anything more. So, why would he put his neck on the line? That's precisely why it takes so long for the Chat Group to enter the picture. The initial chapters focus on showcasing his everyday life with family and friends. It's all about giving you a glimpse into why he wouldn't initially desire the chat group. But, of course, he eventually takes the plunge because he discovers a reason that speaks to him. Now, I know some of you may say, "Hey, couldn't you have summed it up in a single chapter?" Well, sure, I could have, but I didn't want to. Summarizing the MC's relationships and motivations would have resulted in a shallow excuse that you—yes, you—would probably complain about later. Plus, there's more to this story than just his daily life. But enough about that. Let's get one thing straight: this fic is slow. If you're expecting a quick summary with occasional fights and snappy dialogue, do yourself and me a favor by clicking off this fic. You'll find what you're looking for in less than 10 seconds, guaranteed. So, if you're still here after this warning, I don't want to hear any complaints about the story's pace. You've been duly informed. And hey, as you read, try paying a little more attention to uncover the hidden meanings within the dialogues and monologues. Also, I am not saying that I have done a fantastic job on the writing, No that’s not the point of this. The point is that you the reader don’t waste your time reading something you don’t like. And I don’t get 1-star reviews for a reason as petty as ‘The Chat group took too long to appear’ That's all for now. Why?

"No matter what happens in the coming fight against the demon, even if it means that I am on the verge of dying..."

'Do not use that technique,' Kanae clenched her teeth more as she remembered those words.

'Why? Why did you say that? Why can't I help you by putting my body on the line when you've done the same for me?' Kanae's brain wasn't stopping, she didn't what to say to him when he said that to her.

'Is it because of my sisters? But don't you have a family as well? Don't you want to meet them again? You want to, right? I know it, I can feel how much you want to be with your family, Then why won't you let me help you after you've helped me so much?' Kanae felt like she would cry just thinking about it.

'Her attacks are getting wilder,' Right now Daki was being pushed back by the wild flurry of attacks from Kanae even if Gyutaro was helping her, she was in disbelief. To be pushed back by a mere human even after she was buffed so much.

But even then she had still nearly lost her neck to Kanae a few times now. For Daki this was humiliating, but Kanae was far too lost in her head to care about the former's feelings.

'Is it because I am not strong enough? Am I a burden? Please tell me, Why are you stopping me from returning any of the favors you've given me? Tachibana-sama, Please tell me!!'

BANG* SLASH* SMASH*

Kanae was tearing her way through breaking the floor, walls, door, or anything that came in her was cut down or smashed.

But even then she was still unable to reach Daki who was weaving her way through the complex alleyways and stores.

'Looks like she had lost her mind, did the news of his death really affect her that much?' Daki was already considering Yuu a dead man, there was no need to think otherwise since he would not be able to survive after being poisoned.

And seeing Kanae's current state…

'They're both done for,' Daki smiled as she dodged Kanae and kicked her.

"Ugh," Kanae was blasted through a nearby shop and fell into the alley behind it.

SPURT*

'She cut me?' Daki touched her neck and knew what was coming out of her neck.

Kanae was able to make a deep cut into her neck before she pulled back and blocked her kick. But there was another thing to note…

'It isn't healing fast enough, what did she do?' Daki was confused more than ever, this was weird since she felt some sort of lingering heat in the cut made on her neck. And it was hampering her regenerative abilities albeit a little.

'No I can't stop here, There has been no signal, I need to do it,' Kanae had blocked that kick but it still damaged her, but she didn't pay it any mind and there was only one thing going through her head.

Kanae's breath was becoming visible like it was steam coming out of a pot, if she was in a clear state of mind she would've noticed that something different was happening to her.

But all she was thinking about now was getting away from here, and for that she needed to deal with Daki. Kanae was ready to pay the price but just as she was about to do that, ear-deafening sounds came from the distance.

BOOOM* BOOM* BOOM* BOOM*

And they didn't stop rather kept on increasing in number.

'It's the signal!!' Kanae knew that sound very well, just the sound of it cleared her head of any thoughts.

Yuu said that if she hears a lot of explosions together she should know that the first part of the plan is completed.

'No, that doesn't mean anything, I still need to go there soon as possible, I can't leave everything to others,' Even then Kanae's goal didn't change.

But Kanae wasn't the only one who had a lot in mind.

'The connection with Gyutaro was cut?' Daki felt that Gyutaro wasn't helping her enough like before.

Something serious must've happened for him to focus solely on his side.

A few minutes earlier,

"You should just give up, you are just a few steps away from death," Gyutaro looked at Yuu who wasn't in the best shape even when he had no new wounds.

"Haah* Who is close to death? Not me, Haah*" Yuu's breath was more labored than before and Gyutaro could see that his opponent was in a bad state.

And this pleased him immensely.

"Let me show you then!!" Gyutaro blasted towards Yuu at high speeds and swung at him wildly.

TING* TING*

Yuu was getting pushed back by the attacks as it looked like he was having trouble keeping up with Gyutaro.

"See? You can't even keep up with me like you did at the start and I am not even serious,"

Gyutaro's goal wasn't just to kill Yuu, he simply wanted to…

'I'll break you, little by little your body, your mind, your convictions, everything about you, I make sure to trample it under my foot,' His sadistic nature was taking over him now that he didn't see Yuu as a threat.

'Taking from the fortunate is also so much fun,' Gyutaro grinned as he aimed to attack one of Yuu's eyes as he saw Yuu jumping back.

'Let's see how you look after getting a scar on that perfect face of yours,' He increased his speed and using his long arms slipped through Yuu's guard and was about to reach Yuu's face but just then…

'I missed?' Gyutaro's vision was lowering and instantly felt his legs were gone.

'How?' Gyutaro thought as his face was heading towards the ground, His legs weren't regenerating as they should've, and looking ahead he could see Yuu running towards him and understood something.

'It was this bastard's plan,'

"Do you really think this wi- Beep*" And as Gyutaro was about to say more a mechanical beep was heard as soon as his hands touched the ground.

BOOOOOOM*

And an explosion occurred blasting Gyutaro's arms off and as his body was still in the air Yuu had already reached near him aiming at his neck.

With a full powered downward swing, Yuu's katana landed on Gyutaro's neck smashing his body into the ground.

Yuu's katana was cutting into Gyutaro's neck but the speed was a lot slower than it should've been.

'If he wasn't poisoned, I would've been a goner,' Gyutaro could feel it as well, but who cares about if and buts? In battle, the one standing in the end is the victor no matter the means.

"So, you still have some things hidden, Not too bad!!" Gyutaro grinned as he unleashed circular waves of sharp solidified blood from his arms that he has forcefully regenerated.

'This is tough,' Yuu thought as he pulled back and started to deflect the attacks coming his way while Gyutaro slowly stood up.

Gyutaro looked back and saw his blood dripping from the air near his chopped-off legs. He could clearly see there was…

'A wire that thin and it was laced with poison? He was able to catch me off guard once but it won't work again,' Gyutaro was already ignoring the fact that his leg was cut off by a wire, his lax attitude was one that came from confidence.

"That was your only chance of beheading me but now it is gone," Gyutaro walked forward slowly while talking, he now knew what to expect from Yuu.

Gyutaro rushed towards Yuu as his goal still hasn't changed…

"I am going to go east, stop me if you want to save those insects!!" Gyutaro grinned as Yuu's eyes widened and he had to rush toward the former to attack him.

SLASH*

But the attack just cut the air as Gyutaro jumped back to dodge.

He wouldn't engage with Yuu and wanted to make a beeline for the escaping Humans. Gyutaro wanted to kill all of the people who Yuu was working hard to save in front of him.

'This is going to be fun!' Gyutaro thought as his feet landed on the ground and another explosion happened.

BOOOM*

"This could get annoying," Gyutaro thought as his legs were gone once again and Yuu was near him swinging at his neck.

TING*

But Gyutaro was able to block the attack easily and regenerate his legs, but he changed his plans a little.

"I'm gonna smash you up before we reach there," Gyutaro sent out several blood slashes towards Yuu and blasted off to attack him when he saw the opening on the left, and just like before, there was an explosion under his feet.

BOOOM*
